Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co: Peru Confrocafe Coop
Cenfrocafe is one of the strongest, most capable Coops in Peru. They have excellent farmers and cuppers, and their ability to select and build excellent lots of coffee is unsurpassed in the area. Jaen, San Ignacio and surrounding areas are frontier areas in the last 40 years. The newness of the territory has allowed them to innovate without challenging old models and has allowed them to incentivize farmers for higher quality.
Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. Owner Matt McClutchy lives on the same block in Bay View where he runs his café and coffee roasting company. Matt has been roasting coffee ever since 1999 when he purchased a small coffee roaster and set it up in the back room of a small café. As they say, the rest is coffee roastin' history.

By itself it makes a strong impression, being a reasonably bold and full-bodied coffee as well as a subtle and interesting one. This cup is full of sweet caramel and nuts with a lemon acidity and a bright sparkly finish. Medium body
To balance the lemony brightness, this coffee would go great with a sweet pastry like a simple vanilla scone.
