The Classic French Roast was carefully roasted for you by Sisters Coffee Company. This natural processed coffee was grown in the Mogiana region of Brazil between 800 and 1,200 meters above sea level. This is perfect for those that love a full bodied, rich, and smooth cup with less acidity. This coffee also pairs perfectly with milk. We taste dark chocolate, nuts, baking spices, and a hint of tobacco.
Fav in a while! Love the dark color and bold taste.
Really really enjoyed this! Perfect in the French press. The chocolate nose was amazing and long lasting. Very long finish in the rounded nutty flavor. I did not get clove on the palate, but somewhat on the nose. Great!
Loved the low acidity and richness of this coffee.
Nice and round....would like something with some more fruit
This coffee was dreadful, completely flavorless. No depth, no body. Presented as a french roast, but was pale and had no visible oil. Tasted like a cheap light roast. Tossed it after one preparation.
not bold enough
Please don’t send me this again. It does not work in my machine
just not a good flavor to me
I am now using the cleaver dripper and finding it easier to use and getting more consistent results.
Not as robust as I expected French Roast to be. I was underwhelmed.
It had an interesting taste. A bit mild for me.
I'm not sure why Misto calls this a "dark" roast as I find it to be quite light. The flavor is not very bold.
Interesting, but less acidity led to a slightly too-mellow cup for my taste. Thanks for the experience, though.
Very good coffee. Highly recommended.
Really good basic medium roast.
Very good! Has some flavor to it and not quite as acids as other dark roast I’ve had.
not strong enough for me
Not sure French Roasts are my thing. More like a 3.5-3.75 than just a 3. Not quite as good as the last couple I got.
Loved the flavors
Loved it! Strong coffee but kind of light bodied and lots of subtle flavor. Seriously worth trying!
Terrible-please don’t send this one again. Thanks!
Ok and very drinkable but not my favorite. Had a mouth feel that is hard to describe, almost dry if that's possible.
It was rather nice, good flavor
A nice bold cup with a good chocolate note. Easy to grind.
This is nice and balanced.
Upon revisited this coffee, it’s just okay. It’s slightly acidic with a somewhat bland flavor. Wouldn’t retry again.
Balanced and robust
Our least favorite so far. A little sour.
Solid, but slightly underwhelming. Would probably be fantastic blended with a darker roast to build up the mouthfeel and smokey qualities.
Yum! This isn't my favorite french roast, but it was still a good coffee.
Not quite enough flavor.
I liked this overall - but didn't LOVE it. It was not as flavorful as the Big Dipper and I felt it more temperamental with the brewing process to get the best flavor out of it.
Tasted over roasted. Very weak tasting.
Not a dark roast to me.
Brewed through Aero Press and French press, had a very flat taste. Smelled darker than it tasted.
Great flavor - full bodied -
Loved it!! The roast level is perfect for me! Robust flavor without any bitterness; full bodied and smooth. Can definitely taste the dark chocolate. Yum!
Nice Taste. Felt the clove at the end. Not super strong, but definitely full bodied
Drank it with very little or no cream. It was delish
I would give it 3.5 stars in all honesty. We like it, good flavor, very smooth - it's just not very strong. This morning I added oat milk to it and enjoyed it more. I really like the flavor, but seems a bit weak - I wouldn't describe it as full bodied.
This coffee never arrived. The tracking information shows the local post office received it but it has not delivered. It appears to be lost in the mail. What is the process for replacement? Please let me know. Thanks,
Great tasting coffee.
Full bodied and well balanced; very smooth for a French Roast. Very surprised!
Really loved the bold flavor
Really loved the bold flavor
Really nice, robust French roast.
loved the depth and the oils. rich and satisfying.
This is very good! Such a robust taste that you want to savor.
