This coffee will be fresh roasted for you. We expect 1000 Faces Coffee will roast and ship this coffee in 1-2 business days depending on their roasting schedule.
This is the Aldo's Blend brought to you by 1000 Faces Coffee. This is a blend of washed regional coffees from their long-time partners, Gold Mountain Coffee Growers in Nicaragua, crafted with the intent to be full-bodied and deeply roasted. We love this coffee for its rich, full-bodied mouthfeel with dark chocolate, nutty, and baking spice notes.
I think this is has been my favorite so far. The nutty flavor definitely made the difference between the last one I've had.
Fine but wouldn’t get again
I didn’t really like this coffee. The beans looked very light to be a medium-dark roast, and it tasted bitter to me.
Just couldn't enjoy it no matter how we made it.
Honestly it tastes like the previous Centri Coast roast. Its good, but not as bold as I like. I think the best one has been the Parisi Artisain. Considering changing from cholocate/nutty flavors to smokey/caramel ones.
Good balance. Not particularly unique/impressive, but nice/pleasant.
I did enjoy this one more,
I loved everything about this one! It smells amazing, and tastes even better. I love the chocolate and nutty notes.
not my style.
Flat and boring to me
It was ok. Not great.
Started using a drip coffee maker and bought a much better grinder. This coffee was awesome.
Grounds have a very buttery, caramel smell and those notes are nice and moderate, not overpowering and definitely present
Not our favorite
I loved the dark chocolate notes. They were very well balanced in this coffee. This coffee was very good and still tasted good when it cooled off, unlike some of the others.
"not bad" but not great. Drinkable, but I didn't look forward to my morning cup...rather I was anxious for the entire bag to be gone.
Really chocolatey flavor, great aroma fills the room. Easy drinker; definitely something I would enjoy when it gets colder outside and I want to curl up around a cup. Look to reorder this later.
Would give this 4.5 stars if possible. Only tried it with cold brew, but made for a really nice, rich, chocolatey, nutty cup of coffee with its own distinct character. Not absolutely mind-blowing, but very good.
Little too bright for me.
Nice and smooth when made with a french press and also as cold brew.
Very good coffee with a wee bit darker roast added.
It looks like I have to rate at one star for the curator to see my notes. If I could put a minus stars I would do that! Never had such a bad coffee (see past ratings). Seems almost like it wasn't roasted. "I can drink any coffee" - this has changed that thought!
Pretty bland, not a fan.
It’s a bit bitter which is maybe my grind (I wish shipments had grind recommendations - I use the ninja coffee bar because it does single cups, and the Baratza Virtuoso grinder).
However, ignoring the bitter, I love the flavor overall and the smell is amazing. More like this one.
It's not that it was bad, but it was a bit too sweet and floral at points.
not much taste to this one
Very tasty, interesting flavors..
Second worst (next to klatch)
This was a great coffee as well. It tasted like the caramelized part of baked sweet potatoes which I love. It wasn't too dark or bitter at all, it actually had a bit of sweetness but still felt like a nice full coffee.
very very good, a bit more dark than my favorite types but delicious
My favorite so far. Perfect blend, great roast, amazing flavor.
I liked this one a lot - the medium dark roasts seem to be perfect for me. In my top 2 so far!
Absolutely awesome, one of my top favorites!
I did not enjoy the bitterness
I think this one is pretty good Samantha...unique...earthy with good chocolate notes.
Just keep the top picks coming and we can do this for a long time! I'm enjoying this service and look forward to getting new (cool) beans every month!
A bit devoid of flavor. I like the roast level, but the flavor profile just didn't stand out to me.
Very light. Good flavor but would leave it in french press a little longer to give it a little more body.
Did not enjoy the earthy taste of this coffee
Pretty good. I'm not able to get a ton of flavor while pulling shots, but overall pretty good. No bitterness at all.
Excellent flavor. Nice mix of bold but not sour
Meh. This smelled really good, but lost its flavor on brew. Nothing special.
Way too intense for me.
Super cool coffee, and the description really captures all the interesting things about it. The coffee stays with you after you finish your sip and the described spicy/ peppery note is extremely pleasant
like the full body
This was just ok. It has more of a bitter back flavor than we like. We tried several different brewing methods but I think the "spicy" tone of this one is too much for our palette. It's not terrible at all, it's just not as great as the first coffee we got from you.
Again, I don't love dark roasts.
Best one so far! Tasted dark without being too dark.
Wow, this is my favorite coffee I have received in a while. Wonderful notes.
This by far has been my favorite roast so far. I enjoyed this more than the first coffee I received. I felt it was balanced and I could taste the earthy, spicy flavors. If I was to say anything bad it would be the beans seems a little light. I would like to explore more earthy/spicy tasting note coffees!
This good but still not exceptional. Can't wait to try your next blend.
Great roast! Love the spicy flavor.
I love the earth and spicy notes of this coffee. I'd love to try more from 1000 Face Coffee.
A unique taste, typically not in my normal spectrum, but really enjoyed the earthy tone to the coffee.
In contrast to Dillanos Midway Blend, I felt that Aldo's Blend was ligther than what I typically would enjoy, but the flavor was very good.
I typically like a bolder flavored coffee which you tend to get with darker roasts, but I like the smoothness of medium roasts. Aldo's Blend offered the smoothness and didn't have the same level of "bitterness" that Dillano's did. However, I must say that Dillano's Midway Blend and it's bolder flavor grew on me as I worked my way through the bag.
I've only brewed Aldo's Blend twice so far, so I'm excited to see how my tastes adjust to this coffee. Good choice. Something between Aldo's and Dillano's Midway Blend is probably the best fit for me.
It was okay, however nothing really stuck out. I wasn't a fan of the earthy/spicy flavor.
very earthy, all the tastes are toasty, wish there was a more dark chocolate tastes and oils

Too full bodied for my taste
weak, off taste, two bad months in a row
I really love this coffee. I could maybe go for slightly sweeter instead of earthy, but this is a really good cup of coffee.
I got major vanilla flavor, and didn't care for this one as much as my first shipment. This one had much more natural sweetness, so if that's your jam, this one's for you. I prefer more bitterness. Sign me up for earthiness, but this one was a little too caramelly for my taste.
Very delish. Peppery smell does wake you up in the morning. Not acidic at all. It isn't earthy, flavorful, would like more spice :)
Kind of bitter. Not a big Fan of the peppery taste
A lot of flavor in the front, empty at the end. Needs more body, but good flavor.
I think I liked Aldo's Blend more than my previous coffee. It was a little bit darker than the previous set and definitely tasted acidic and roasty. I think next time, I might prefer something less acidic, although I did overall enjoy this cup. I definitely tasted the earthiness and spice to the cup, and enjoyed both qualities.
This coffee was good but tasted like something I could find locally, can you get really weird with the next one please:)

This was a great blend, really enjoying it. Wouldn't mind getting again but would love to try other coffee with the remaining shipments.
Excellent mouthfeel. A little bitter due to the roasting.
Great flavor. Not too bold.

Liked this alot first thing in the morning.
Very "green" flavor. Intense notes of spice, very full bodied cup
This coffee was awful. We actually think it was spoiled or stale. My husband tried to brew it twice in our chemex and it was undrinkable both times. He said "something went really really wrong."
I'm not a spicy coffee person.
Not nearly as good as the last two. The aftertaste is not to my taste, I think a little too bitter. It is fine with a little cream to cut that bitterness, but the La Colombe and Verve were very drinkable black.
This was a great tasting simple coffee. Not especially bitter, acidic, etc, but something I would turn to when I'm looking for a good well rounded coffee.
A savory kind of flavor that did not come out well cold brewed. It tastes like a blend of a rich premium coffee and office drip. Hints of something wonderful that didn't pan out for us.
A little more earthy than what I like but still made a nice cup.
Too earthy for my tastes. Not enough oil left in the bean.
I liked the coffee. It seemed to have some spice which I liked. It was a little darker than I tend to drink, but still had good flavors and didn't have a burnt taste some dark roasts do. While I liked this coffee quite a bit, I think I am ready for a bit more fruity and fresh tasting coffee. Thanks!!
I enjoyed this one more than the first - this one is a bit bolder than the first and darked - I like that.
Both my wife and I enjoyed this one. Good pick!
Very solid - a little thin for my personal taste - BUT - if you brew it strong - you get a fine cup! HOWEVER - if you drip this and find exactly the right balance between amount of coffee vrs. water you will be rewarded.
A very earthy coffee.
I love the potential here and the savory notes, but I wish it were a smidge darker with a bit more body. It's still a little too juicy and citrusy to me.
I'm drinking like five cups of this a day and I cherish every sip.
This is my favorite one yet. It is so smooth and delicious. My wife is very much enjoying it as well
rich and smooth
That's what I'm talking about!
A nice fresh brew of this coffee perfectly emulates stale office coffee with a hint of old cigarettes. Aldo should be embarrassed by this blend.
Very straightforward coffee. Flavor profile lacked complexity, but it was consistently good.
Smooth and clean, but not quite rich (flavorful? full-bodied?) enough to get 5 stars from me.
My husband LOVES this one. I like it a lot but not as much as I liked the Noble. It is still a little bit sour.
Light and tasty, nothing bitter, sour, etc.
This has been our favorite so far! Great cup of coffee balanced and not bitter at all.
This has been our favorite so far! Great cup of coffee balanced and not bitter at all.
Definitely shows the Nicaraguan influence with earthy and chocolate flavors. Well rounded flavor with some thinness at the end.
Gramps & Lin
First taste too fruity.Aftertaste just not smokey enough.
my favorite so far!
Not my style as far as flavor or spice. But as an overall cup of coffee, it is good. Full, tasteful, and aromatic.
Nice solid blend. Has a slight tang to it, with a good sort of nutty after taste, which I enjoyed with both hot and iced brews.
The beans are medium to dark brown and not oily, but brewed into a chestnut color. When smelling the beans in the package, I sensed notes of chocolate and tobacco with a little smoke. The taste was slightly sweet and a little more of the acidic side. While an interesting blend, I did not find the flavor to be as deep and complex as I typically drink.
I really liked this one, it had great body and flavor.
good not great. high acidity?
Not bold enough for my liking.
Loved this coffee. Flavor was great.
Not our favourite blend but good. Lacked boldness, liked the smoky flavour.
An all-around satisfying cup of coffee.
Liked it. Hard to follow Caffe Ladro, Diablo Blend.
too light. I made cold press coffee in an attempt to increase the flavor. It worked a little but not that much.
Very smooth with a pleasant after taste
Not my typical cup, but my family and I really enjoyed.
