Really loved this one it was dark and flavorful. The beans are oily which may bug some but this was a first for us and did not bother us. It blended well with our almond milk creamer and worked will in our French press and re-usable Kcup

Excellent coffee! I finished reading The Blue Bottle Craft of Coffee. I now weigh 20 g of coffee. Grind on 10 which is on the coarse end of the espresso range (0 to 14). Brewed on mark 2 of the Aero Press with 180 F water for 60 seconds. Pressed through and added 180 F to about 10 ounces total volume.

A bit smoky for my taste, so I blended it with my favorite coffee here at home and the result was perfect. It added a bit of boldness that worked out fine!

When I signed on with my latest gift subscription, I said I did not like dark and wet beans. This pick was dripping with wetness. I feel this pick was a waste of one of my taste samples. Please do not send me wet beans.

Full bodied, delicious and dark. So far, this has been my favorite. The beans glisten and I can't wait to drink my first cup, then I savor each cup until I'm through.

I don't like a roast this dark. The coffee was too burnt (not literally, I don't think the beans were over roasted, just not my flavor). Also the beans were so oily I had to stir them to get them through my grinder.

My first brew was too bitter to taste any nuances. My second brew wasn't as bitter, but it's probably too dark for my preference.

Way too dark and not enjoyable. Almost like drinking a glass of liquid smoke. Had to dialed down the amount of beans to make it palatable.
