Rich and well-balanced, not as dark as I was worried it might be. Great as espresso, didn't try as cold brew yet.

This coffee is just a bit too acidic for my taste -- the oatmilk I put in it this morning curdled so I drank my second cup of it black. The packaging is great and it smells wonderful, but it's just a little too bright for me. If you like single origins, I think it's a good match for you.

We enjoyed this roast. It was smooth. Darker roasts aren't our favorite, but this one was flavorful and smoother than most darker roasts we've had.

Brewed in a drip coffee maker. Subtle notes of apple on the back of the palate. I could not detect the fudge notes. A solid depth of coffee flavor. May try it in the french press next. A good roast profile. I do like dark roasts and this spans the line between medium and dark without too much brightness.
Edit: I tried it via French Press this afternoon. 16.9 fl oz. water to approximately 30ish grams coffee (was dialing in my JavaPresse hand grinder after cleaning so not 100% certain). I could definitely get the fudge notes more with this brewing, but lost the apple notes. I'd say this is a great French Press coffee.
Next shipment, can we try to get a dark roast that is great in the drip brewer?

Really good stuff. I make it with an aeropress, and it's got incredible flavor. Only knock is that it isn't as "clean" tasting as most coffees I make with the aeropress. Overall very good.

The fudge flavor is very noticeable, each sip being like a bite of dark chocolate. This brew lacks the same flavor complexity and smoothness of previous roasts on the queue.

I ground these beans to a fine/extra fine consistency for use in my breville barista express espresso machine. I enjoyed the espresso's mild fudgey taste as an espresso shot, as a latte, as well as an americano with a little bit of creamer. To me it tasted the best when served as an americano. The smell was very pleasant and I am looking forward to future shipments.

It's a dark roast that doesn't feel like a dark roast! Ok ok ok, I know it's not a DARK roast, but so far, this is the darkest coffee that I've enjoyed from Mistobox's recommendations. If you don't like dark roast, try this. It might be a gateway for you

i like this better than the second coffee, but not quite as much as the first. The bag mentions apple tones. I think I prefer chocolate tones, along with nuts or vanilla, rather than fruit tones. I like the richness and fudge tones of this one.

Juicy, rich, full of flavor with a hint of acidity. Gets better with each sip.
