Loved this and would gladly take more of it. I've been to the main coffee shop where they roast the beans and have many fond memories of it.
Really enjoying this one a lot! It is described as simple and straightforward, but I am tasting a richer, classic dark roast flavor than with the previous couple of coffees that were sent.
Very nice, nutty flavor
This really should be listed as a medium roast. The beans were not dark at all. The flavor is very unique but I can’t taste any dark chocolate notes. I’ll probably add some really dark beans in with this and I think it will be really good.
yum - this was one of my favs so far
As someone who doesn't prefer dark roasts and who finds tobacco flavor to be absolutely disgusting, I'm surprised to rate this as high as a 2. But it was drinkable when mixed liberally with other coffee flavors.
Pretty good overall, with some minor sour notes that keep it from being a 5
Mild, smooth flavor with notes of dark chocolate and almond. In addition to French Press, I also used this coffee to make cold brew overnight concentrate. I was wonderful as a cold brew, no weird, bitter flavors. Make a great iced coffee.
Lighter than I prefer but still good, smooth.
Sweet and well-balanced
Good roast, not robust, but pleasing. Nutiness comes through, but not overly rich. Kissed by chocolate and smoke. Doesn't overpower the cup. A solid everyday cup of coffee.
not my favorite
This is really lovely, I definitely get the chocolate. There's a dry earthiness to it that's very unique.
Loved the packaging and the instructions included on the "Optimal Brewing" ratios etc. and the cup is decently drinkable (though not our favorite). The big issue I have with this coffee is the strong tobacco smell after grinding. Normally the smell of fresh coffee is my favorite part so I found this to be unfortunate. I think we will be staying away from coffee with tobacco tasting notes from now on. That said, I'm sure anyone who likes that smell would be pleasantly surprised and should definitely give this blend a shot!
Roast is too sharp and dark
Nice, full-bodied, dark chocolate, very slight nuttiness, and some tobacco notes. I like this, although it always seemed like I could adjust something to give it more "pop" and it never really got there. Still very good.
I'm not really into fruity or acidic coffees. I love nutty/chocolately dark roasts, and this was a great smooth option for that.
This coffee is smooth and strong. I didn't get tobacco notes, but definitely roasted almonds.
Was too bitter and acidic.
This isn’t a dark roast in my opinion, like at all. It tastes like green beans to me. There’s other roasters that have similar tastes and I just don’t understand why people like it!

It was okay.
Not the most interesting. A bit lighter bodied than I typically prefer. Makes a passable cup but nothing too noteworthy in terms of depth or flavor profile. The preground option also had a lot of fines in there, pretty uneven grind.

The tobacco flavor was far too strong. I felt like I was drinking a cigarette.
Damn near perfect. Great, rich, nutty flavor, easy to drink but still complex. Love it.
I liked it, but it was a little on the darker side, where the acidity was a little strong for my palette.
Very good. Well balanced. Not too sweet. I would get this again
Too bitter for my taste. Prefer a lighter roast.
Perfect roast, amazing notes
Quite enjoyable. Usually I am not a fan of dark roasts but this one from Sisters Brewing is delicious. Has nice body and very smooth for a dark roast. Nice pick!
