Absolutely loved this coffee! Bold and notes of vanilla, coffee, pine, roasted hazelnuts. Coarse grind was the best.

Nothing much to say. Just a regular dark roast that you can get anywhere. Avoid if you want something extraordinary. Brewed it as espresso 18 gr in, 25 gr out, 25 sec.

Well-balanced coffee, very nutty overall with a nice hint of sweetness. Definitely a little lighter in taste than anticipated, but we like very dark roasts. A good cup!

Loved this one - chocolate and nut notes really came through. Each cup was rich and smooth. Taste and smell did not disappoint. Definitely one of my favorites.

I'm finally getting to this bag and I do not prefer dark roasts. I specifically listed only Light and Medium roasts. Is there a way to get a refund as I have been sent two bags now of dark roasts (this and the latest - which I have not opened). Thanks.

I think this is my favorite so far. Makes great espresso and latte with my Rancilio Silvia machine. Those were so good I didn't get around to trying it with other brewing methods.

I got the best flavor out of this one through a moka pot. It's a little smoky, bold, and not bright. The flavors are a little less consistent (even when measuring water and bean weights) in drip and French press, like somehow the flavor isn't fully realized.

Wonderful roasted flavor with a slightly bitter dark chocolate finish. By far the best coffee we have received to date for our tastes.

I made it with the same amount of coffee/water I normally do and this just had no flavor. It was bizarre. Drinkable, but tasted like almost nothing.

I absolutely love this one! I tried a few different recipes (always drinking as a cappuccino with ~5oz of oatmilk). The traditional 1:2 (i.e: 16gr in, 32gr out) ratio is my favorite and results in a bold yet very smooth and a little chocolaty cappuccino.
If the ratio is kept lower (i.e 1:1.5) you get a light, super-chocolaty drink.

I have mixed feelings on this one. This is a really good, balanced, easy drinker. I’d say I’m “neutral” on this roast. There’s not really anything that stands out about it. But I wouldn’t necessarily call that a bad thing. Not disappointed by any means. I like these darker roasts that are on the lighter side of dark. You get the good toasty flavors without the burnt/bitter aftertaste. I would probably purchase this again.

Amazing taste and flavor. Did it with pour over and really took the time to let the water absorb all the coffee flavors. The most recent brew I did, I almost thought I was drinking a chocolate bar.

Wasn’t a fan of this one. The medium/dark bean blends tend to have too much of that sour taste I’m not into. Also, the roasted beans have very little oil on them, which is usually a sign the beans haven’t been roasted quite enough for my preference. Also, this one was kind of dull all around, making it unusual but not great. Wouldn’t get this coffee again.
