Super yummy. Blackerry taste and after taste of fruit. Wasn't acidic at all. Quite aromatic and just yummy.

This one has a nice bright citric punch that's not off putting. I preferred it 2-3 weeks off roast after it mellowed out a bit. A cappuccino that I left in the fridge for a bit turned out absolutely delicious when drunk cold. It became extremely sweet with a strong chocolate note.

Big fan of bird rock (actually was getting monthly deliveries from them direct during pandemic while they were closed), but not a huge fan of this blend. Probably would have enjoyed more if they weren’t local and the blend flavor profile wasn’t so similar to a lot of their beans.
Not sure if these reviews go anywhere, but I’d prefer not being sent bird rock since I can just pop in and pick beans at several of their shops here in San Diego. :)

Beautiful flavor. Almost as good as the sightglass coffee I just gushed over. Sometimes a really smooth coffee leaves you wanting. This coffee, with the smoothness combined with the flavor notes, is fabulous.

I like it quite a bit, but I prefer a slightly more flavorful coffee, which I know can be difficult to get in a light roast. I love the Counter Culture "Fast Forward" blend, which features notes of nutty, sweet, and light according to their packaging. I'd love to try something along those lines!

This was a great coffee with strong fruit notes. I'd prefer something with a bit more chocolate or nut taste.

Bit sour... but interesting fruits. Would like something with cool flavors in the future that would brew well in woodneck, aeropress or ninja coffee machine. Maybe branch out on roast (curator choice!).

The berry/clementine flavors came out in an americano with a touch of milk, but muted when made in a stronger espresso to milk ratio (cortado/flat white). Not a flavor profile we enjoy, too light of a roast and too fruity.

The Cafe Del Sol is a really nice med-light bodied coffee but for me not quite rich enough for espresso. I will most likely drink it as a pour over until I receive the next coffee installment. For espresso I prefer a little more body or richness. For reference, my normal espresso staple is Temple's Dharma espresso blend.

After making 3 different brews (Chemex, experimenting with brew temps and grinds) I find the flavor quite roasted and heavy (despite it being labeled as a medium/light roast)

This coffee has one of the best flavor profiles I’ve ever had. Very rich, smooth, and smells incredible. Easily a top 3 if not the best.

this coffee tended toward the bitter side with a finish that some might call 'buttery' but mostly I found myself struggling to drink at all. I didn't get much of the 'dynamic flavors', the 'clementine', 'blackberry', or really anything you could describe as 'vibrant' from this coffee. The description does not align with the reality at all.
