This coffee will be fresh roasted for you. We expect Augies Coffee House will roast and ship this coffee in 1-2 business days depending on their roasting schedule.
The New Tricks Blend was blended and roasted for you by Augies Coffee House. This is Augie's Winter Holiday blend consisting of two coffees, one from Guatemala, and the other is a naturally processed coffee from Ethiopia Yirgacheffe. The name comes from the saying you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Augies doesn't believe that. This is a classic blend with a fun new twist featuring notes of chocolate, caramel, nuts, and plum.
Really good, love this one. Rich, smooth & balance. Easy everyday drinking.
Matt's favorite so far
This was excellent!
STRONG Plum flavor. What I'd imagine dipping a fig newton into your cup would taste like.
Mild chocolate notes as well without the bitterness of raw cocoa. Would consider buying again in the future, and would look into the brand's other options.
I definitely see why this is considered a "holiday blend".
Good flavor, I would agree with plum as a tasting note.
Watered down coffee
I’m not sure how to describe why I didn’t like it. Just was off from the really delicious previous month. Maybe the plum glow or?
The beans smelled great, but when ground up they had this odd aroma that I couldn't place. After drinking it, it has a bitter after taste that I don't like. I think it's the plum notes that I don't like. You win some, you lose some, I guess.
This was more acidic than I tend to care for.
This one is awesome!
It is way too sweet and tastes like sugar water
This was the best coffee!!!!
Too syrupy for my liking. Dad and sister made faces when trying it as well. Probably the plum.
I was not a fan of this coffee the acid finish was not enjoyable.
Not as much flavor or body as I was hoping for.
I really liked drinking this one.
More bitter than I had hoped for. But then, I prefer my coffee very rich and sweet.
I did not love this blend, perhaps it was my particular batch of beans but there was a distinct 'burnt' taste to this coffee. I tried a more course grind and did a cold brew, the taste remained and it wasn't pleasant.
