Night Shift is the upgraded version of that, so drink it and make memories.
Not good. Too bold, and not a lot of flavor. Tastes burned.
this was billed as medium, but it is dark!s may be good if you like a dark roast but for me it is way too bitter.
Good balance of roastiness and acidity. However, the coffee did not have any underlying flavors or complexities. Drinking it black was almost a chore.
Not loving the nutty flavor and forced richness in this one.
Amazing coffee. This has become our favorite. I have reordered twice!
Overall, a nice, well balanced cup of coffee. Nothing super remarkable about it but just an enjoyable, simple, straight forward cup. Elevated diner coffee is an appropriate description.
Good, but slightly bitter.
The brightness/tartness of this brew stands out and works well for a hot brew but is even better suited for a cold brew. Great for a summer time coffee.
Very nice, a strong flavor without being too overwhelming
Yum. little darker then normal but a nice change of pace.
Loved this one. Will def order again.
I prefer the lighter taste of medium roast coffee, so this one didn’t stand out that much to me.
Really well balanced, fragrant, and strong. Delicious as a cold brew
Too dark, prefer medium and light roast. Thank you!
Not a lot flavor for a supposed full bodied coffee.
Made a really good Cold Brew
Definitely tasted like diner coffee elevated. A bit too roasted though. Almost a burnt flavor. I’d want something like this at night but decaf.
This coffee is great for cold brew but I didn't like it when I brewed this using a french press.
Just meh. Fits the description I didn’t read. Very diner coffee ish. Did not enjoy:(
Really enjoyed this.
Very late review but this one was ok. Don't remember how it tasted specifically, unfortunately.
Pretty good dark roast. Feels like a standard cup of joe with a little more flavor and body.
I love this coffee. It's smooth and maybe even a little sweet.
I was nervous it'd be a little bold for my taste, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it was well balanced, still full of flavor and depth.
Made as cold brew - excellent!
Please no more dark roasts! Only light or medium!
Another amazing pick from Misto for my palette. Keep them coming.
strong enough, didn't get a lot of nutty notes
This coffee was alright!! It lacked some of the flavor depth and creaminess I prefer:)
Good coffee, just not a fan of dark roasts. I wouldn’t get it again, but I’d recommend it to others.
Really nice! My wife and I both loved this.
Definitely medium dark, prefer their other blends a lot over this one. I would say it’s smooth in its own way and it’s drinkable if you lean more to dark coffees or your someone who likes adding cream. But nothing to rave about.
very dark, unable to taste anything other than the roast
Not great, not awful. Smooth flavor. Not bitter. Pretty middle of the road for a dark roast. Nothing exception for taste. Great nose!!
A bit weak and sour, but not bad
This coffee will also be in the higher tier of longer term choices
We like medium body coffee. It was too dark for us.
We don't like dark roasts. Why are we getting dark roasts despite having settings to exclude them?
It's a classic all around great dark roast that everyone can enjoy.
This coffee was weak. Not much flavor. Was disappointed :(
Darker/stronger than i prefer. Good coffee, my daughter who has different tastes than i took some home to Auburn University with her. She loves it.
Too dark, tastes burnt. I would not have ordered this if I would have read the description, which says "dark roast." I only looked at Mistobox's "medium roast" rating.
Middle of the road decent coffee.
This coffee eas difficult to dial in for espresso, and even after it was the coffee was too bitter for me.
Really delicious medium/dark roast - not too smokey or bitter.
The best EVER. Very nutty, chocolatey, delicious! Nice work!
This was some of the best tasting coffee I’ve ever had. 5 stars for sure
this was good to excellent for me! I surprised myself on how much i enjoyed this coffee as i was initially worried it was a dark roast and i wouldn't enjoy it. Not quite as smooth as some of the others but overall, very drinkable and i've been enjoying every cup each morning.
I just couldn't get into this one. The taste reminds me of weak free office coffee.
Overall this is a solid, all-purpose coffee to have on your shelf! I’ve made espresso, americanos & pour over on my V-60 and it was good using all 3 methods.
My least favorite so far
Excellent darker roast coffee. Deep and dark flavor with little to no bitterness on the tongue. Definitely more of a "standard" coffee flavor than a lot of the single origins on here but sometimes that's really all you need.
Not a special or extraordinary coffee but a good dark roast for every day drinking.
Wouldn't want again
Superb, nice chocolate and earthy tones with a clean smooth finish. Slightly too dark but otherwise delicious. I recommend a medium to slightly coarse grind.
Very mellow, smooth, with subtle flavors
I like it - just not really impressed. It’s not good or bad.
This was probably one of, if not my favorite roasts sent to me yet.
Decent but not my favorite of a dark roast.
Loved this one
Way too dark. Overwhelming over roasted taste. Usually enjoy Cat&Cloud. However this bag is still mostly full on my shelf.
Nice buttery taste.
Please send Cat Cloud again
Good cup of coffee, smells even better. Makes a very strong cup if needed.
Versatile and excellent darker roast, used both as espresso and drip coffee and held up either way!
This is a dark roast - says so right on the label, even if the Mistobox system has it labeled as medium. Not what I want to be drinking.
One of my top 5 favorites yet!!! I feel like you've found the perfect cup again. It's the best to wake up to a cold morning to - it feels lush and luxurious without the dark roast heaviness or the acidic aftertaste. Mellow and full. Love it!
very tasty! A bit of sharpness at first but still super smooth .
Looove the smell!
By far one of the best coffees i've received within my subscription. It's the perfect dark roast, balanced, dark, and zero bitterness. Love love love this coffee! Send more like this!
Too dark. Prefer more citrus.
Extremely good! The only reason it doesn’t receive 5 stars is that it wasn’t as bold as I prefer- but definitely will order again. Almost perfect for my taste profile
One of the more drinkable coffees I've had. The flavors are subtle, not overwhelming. It's labeled as dark roast, but it's not that dark. Full bodied medium is more accurate. Don't let the dark label scare you away. The other reviewers calling it bitter must be grinding/brewing wrong. The description of upgraded diner coffee is pretty spot on. I expect it will appeal to a wide variety of coffee pallets.
Very simple. Bold flavor that doesn’t overwhelm.
Wasn't as much a fan. Seemed a little bitter on the tongue.
Dark roast is not what i signed up for... not enough caffeine.
Tasty, but a bit dark.
This was a joy to brew every morning. Also served as a great counterpoint to the coffee that I have been roasting lighter.
A bit too dark for me.
Chocolate notes, full bodied, and while I don't always go for "nutty", the nuttiness in this blend is not overpowering, but a pleasant note. Very good overall!
Much too dark and a bit bland for my taste. Would try another type of coffee from them and really appreciate their mission and approach to coffee.
I was surprised that I liked this one. Not usually a fan of dark roasts but Night Shift was well balanced and flavorful with none of that over-roasted bitterness I'd expect.
Not too acidic. Good flavor
Not a fan of dark roasts (and my preferences didn't select them).
It took me a couple days to find the perfect balance for this coffee, but eventually I found the sweet spot for a well-balanced, rich cup with my stainless-mesh pour over cone, fine-medium grind, and a pulse pour method.
