This coffee will be fresh roasted for you. We expect Evans Brothers Coffee Roasters will roast and ship this coffee in 1-2 business days depending on their roasting schedule.
This is the Big Timber Blend brought to you by Evans Brothers Coffee Roasters. Organic and Fair Trade certified coffees from Ethiopia, Guatemala, Sumatra were carefully chosen and blended together to create a unique harmony of flavors that are greater than the sum of its parts. The cup is full bodied with notes of milk chocolate and a rich smoky quality.
A little bitter and fell a bit flat on the palate.
Nothing extra special
A little app dark and roasted fro my taste for all brewing methods.
very smooth, really enjoyed
It was okay. Not great. Not awful. Drinkable but blah.
OK, didn't really wow me in any way. Went OK with my creamer.
A bold but flavorful coffee with hints of chocolate and wood. I preferer mine with some cream and this is a most excellent coffee to enjoy in the morning. I plan to repurchase this blend.
Not outstanding, but a very solid cup with rich flavors.
Loved it, last couple selections have really been excellent. Thanks!
A little too smokey for me.
Liked this a lot
Really enjoy this coffee. New to the “craft coffee” thing, so I don’t have specific flavor notes, but this is very good coffee.
Only brewed with my coffee maker so far, but want to try some out in the French press. Thanks!
Just ok. Not thrilling, but not awful.
Did not like.
I thought it was a little bland actually.
too dark for me
Bold, robust, Smokey, silky mouthfeel
Good, but I liked the equator coffee French roast you just sent a little better. Still looking for a darker bolder taste
Best blend I've had
I love the full body of this coffee, it was smooth and bold without bitterness or acidity. Very easy to drink.
Pretty middle of the road.
Smooth. A bit smoky. Needed a full basket of grounds to get to the desired strength. Would order again.
Perfect dark roast for me, extremely bold and deep flavor without being bitter or too acidic.
A little too smokey
Liked this better than coffee #1. Stronger but not bitter. Wouldn't mind something stronger, but still not bitter.
Excellent choice—loved it!
Very good, full bodied and not bitter with a smooth finish; near perfection.
Good Morning coffee. The chocolate aroma is perfect but not overwhelming after I brewed it with a percolator. Not a complex taste... more 2 dimensional. A dark brew that is more subtle and enjoyable but not too strong. The smokiness didn't make it through on aroma or taste but it didn't take away from the brew. Definitely will buy again.
Hints of chocolate were nice. Not too dark.
We really enjoyed this bag. Straight out of the bag, it smelled like chocolate. The blend was nice, it was full flavored and slightly smokey!
Rich in flavor but also light and smooth to drink.
quite good, strong flavor

Great morning coffee
Now this was a smooth morning wake-up coffee.
Good, but not quite as bold as I like.
My favorite so far!
This was another great one. Would have it again.
I really like this dark without being bitter. Really good flavor.
My ideal coffee!! This coffee is high quality without getting too complicated with the flavors. It has a the perfect, balanced, 'just coffee' taste.
Definitely the best so far. Maybe "smokey" is the magic word. I know with my usual, others have described the smell as muddy or earthy (Peet's Uzuri African Blend).
This has a depth of flavor, there are layers to the taste, The ones I'm indifferent to are shiny (bright?) and shallow. There's one taste and that's it.
This is a big, bold cuppa with little to no acid. I plan to order some of this from the roaster.
Good clean coffee flavor, not bitter. Bold flavor without being harsh.
Enjoyed this coffee. Nice flavor, although it leans just a little bit toward the bitter / smoky flavors more than I like. Fine coffee. Totally drinkable.
Nice, smooth and balanced. My only nit-pick is that it might be a touch too mellow.
good bal of smoke and sweet not quite strong enough
Favorite bag so far.
Really liked this one! Super smooth, great flavors!
Without cupping vs the previous Evans Bros (Sumatra) at same time, it's hard to compare-but this blend is really good. I like the smokiness and the body; there are notes of dark chocolate, and hints of caramel. A nice, daily coffee, nice blend of flavors.
Really enjoyed the smoky notes. Seemed a little bold for the morning, but great for weekend afternoons. A good pick.
Delicious! Please ship again.
Way too bitter tasting for me.
This was my favorite so far

Perfect amount of boldness. Reminded me of drinking coffee in the mountains. Maybe the design of the bag helped.
One of the best coffee's I've ever had. Rich and smooth!
More of a medium roast, than a dark one. Good for espresso or moka.
Smoky and chocolaty a nice cup of java
This one is one of my two favorites so far (Black & Tan being the first). A very good choice for my tastes!
This blend is not very good. It has any "off taste". Do not like it.
Bunny & Bunny
This coffee tastes like happiness. It was bold and full bodied.
A great blend, earthy but also not to overwhelming.
favorite so far!
Good flavor notes but not full bodied and strong enough for me
Meh, too weak
Awesome full flavor. One of the better coffees I've had.
lovely and delicious.
Real chocolatey goodness.
Not my cup of tea (coffee)
Favorite coffee choice so far! I loved the bold, chocolately taste!
Great tasting coffee. Caffeine content feels quite high (not good, not bad).
I could definitely taste the smokiness and that is not something I prefer in my taste profile. It was a smooth coffee, but just too smoky for me.
The three beans each lent a distinctive characteristic to the finished cup. Very good. Although it was referred to as 'dark roast', it was not as dark as I prefer.
I didn't like this coffee as much as my first. It was very earthy, usually a good thing but it didn't work for me this time. It was a roast type I typically like. I expected a bigger flavor but it just sat on the front of my tongue and didn't last. The coffee wasn't bad, it just wasn't my favorite.
REALLY good. I love the smell of this blend! Took me a while to dial in the brewing (siphon, metal filter) and while it is a bit strong, the taste is amazing. I'd love to try something similar to this in a medium roast. =D
This one was better than the previous coffee. Beans were not as darkly roasted as what I typically like. Also was a little acidic for my taste. I also think I have learned that I don't like the smokiness of these last two as much as I thought I would. I Would like to try something that is much more bold in flavor. Darkly roasted with mild sweetness low acidity and a lot of body. Dark chocolate, caramel, toasted nut and spice flavors would be a plus
Lots of flavor, depth. Great coffee.
I like this on better than the first one I had-which I cannot see on my history
this was the best coffee ever!
Love the notes. Great full bodied coffee.
Forget what we liked about this, but remember really enjoying it!
Great flavor; perfect color
too chocolate-y for my taste
Really liked the taste of this coffee.

As I mentioned in my other review, I tend to prefer long lingering, bitter, single origin coffees more typical of Columbia. I'd be interested in trying a sweeter/nuttier long lingering finished Honduran one as well though. Thanks!
Much closer to what I like in coffee. Full, bold and much less citrus after-taste. I would purchase again, but am interested in trying something even stronger or earthy (because I don't think I have every really tried that boldness)
I enjoyed this one more than the first. I found it a bit acidic.
Great full bodied dark roast. Bitter bite and the end but all and all a good cup of Joe
bold but smooth
Great morning coffee! Bold, but smooth
This was a pleasant coffee, but not as bold of a flavor as I would have liked in comparison to the previous coffee.
