Very balanced coffee with a strong roasted nut flavor. No bitterness, and would be 5/5 if it was a little bit of a darker roast (personal preference). Delicious!

This is delish. I have to brew it dark (1.5x normal) to get it as dark as I like but it's super good when I do that. And love that it is organic.

I liked the chocolatey taste in this, and probably that it was full-bodied. It wasn't quite as strong as I like, but maybe that's because I mixed it with the Alma decaf. It smells nice!

Excellent coffee! Not too bitter or filled with tannin taste. Notes of caramel were prevalent from the beginning. Better when ground finer than what I normally would do for a French press.

I've found that fresh hot water poured over top is much more satisfying when it comes to taste but it still tastes okay from the maker. Just my opinion.

Roasty is a tasting note I certainly enjoy in my coffee and this coffee has that. The body of this coffee is great as well.

A hearty dark roast with a strong aroma and aftertaste of chocolate. Not bitter, low acid. Overall a coffee I enjoyed and would order again.

Good flavor- when used with cows milk it retains the coffee flavor. When used with oak milk, it tends to taste a little burnt at the end of the pot.

First, I like how the bag has a built in sealer strip so I can close it. Other bags I’ve seen lack any seal or have a sticky tape strip which loses its grip and needs to be readjusted.
Onto the coffee though. I'm liking this one. It has a strong, dark flavor without being burnt. Brewed properly I get hints of sweetness. With 26g of beans I can get between 350-400ml of water through this and keep a strength I like. It's my first dark roast from Mistobox but maybe my favorite so far.

Was a bit too dark for me. I think I’ve learned I prefer more medium roast coffees that are still strong and full of flavor.

I’m docking my rating a star, not because I didn’t like it, but because I did not get any of the chocolate or caramel flavor it described itself as having. I feel like I tasted more of the roast, giving it a rustic campfire quality. Not a profile I look for everyday, but a great cup on a cold cloudy day.

This coffee was fantastic, the best we have received thus far. Cool and earthy and a little sweet. We used it in the espresso machine and the aroma and flavor was really enhanced.

This coffee was one of my favorites so far. I really liked the flavor, and it wasn’t as bitter as the last one and not as acidic as the very first coffee. Also, they sent me a sticker with my coffee, which was an excellent addition to the already great coffee.

I have only used this blend in my espresso machine. The roast is a bit more acidic than I had expected. It may be the "roasty" notes that appear acidic. The taste is definitely full bodied. The blend may be better used in a french press or a cold brew concentrate.

The chocolate is very noticeable both in the ground beans and the coffee made from the beans. What seemed to be missing was a smooth finish. Not a bad coffee by any measure but not memorable or desirable either.

This coffee is very good but extremely finicky. I was a huge fan of the roasty flavor, elegent touh of chocolate (not at all overpowering) and the full bodieness of it for sure. WIth that said, it is VERY finicky. If you go to hot or cold, it would tast eway off. If you use an aero press, as I do, and so much as TOUCH the grinds when compressing, oh no.. you've gone too far! Taste Ruined! But if you do it right, it is consistantly amazing. I take one star awya for just being high maintenance :p

Of the three coffees I've received so far, this one was my least favorite but perhaps that's because of the time of year – I think this would be a better cup for fall/winter! A little too mellow and 'roasty' for my summer coffee tastes.
