The Burundi Kiniyota was carefully roasted for you by Tony's Coffee. This fully washed coffee was sourced from the growing region of the Muyinga Province in Burundi and was produced by the small holder producers at 1,400 - 1,600 meters. The cup has a juicy body with notes of raspberry, cantaloupe and lemon.
Fruity, balanced, and sweet. Good acidic African coffee
December 2018 - Really good when made in a pour over
Fruit forward and easy to drink!
Excellent loved the bold flavor without being too strong or overpowering.
Very subtle flavor profile.
Not sure exactly what flavors I'm tasting, but this cup is bursting! There's fruit, nice acidity, balance, and odd but amazing earthiness. Loving it.
I wasn't terribly impressed with my first couple of sips. But as the cup cooled, the flavors really shot out. The lemon became a primary taste the cooler it got which is the reason I got this cup. Didn't notice the cantaloupe but I also don't really like cantaloupe. Very good coffee but not quite as complex as my last.
It starts with a lighter, melon taste and then moves into the darker flavors. Overall it is quite juicy and delicious!
This was a really enjoyable coffee. Balanced, nuanced, and smooth. More of this!
I really like the cantaloupe and citrus notes. Very interesting coffee. Smells great!
Great balance. Not overpowering and easy to drink.
Light with a smooth and creamy finish
We found the coffee to be exceptionally sweet when prepared in both an aeropress and espresso maker. The most prominent tasting notes were the cantaloupe and lemon. This would be an excellent coffee to have to replace dessert, but is not our favorite for our daily cup.
We enjoyed this coffee very much! We chose it in part because of the raspberry and lemon notes that were mentioned, but we actually detected the cantaloupe more. The fruitiness seems to get stronger as the coffee cools and we both enjoyed it even more the second day we tried it! Can't wait for tomorrow morning!
Very unique bean. The whole bean smells very herbal/tomato, but don't let that stop you. When ground, it smells amazing. In the cup, the tartness is present but balanced. Very satisfying. Only tasted through espresso so far.
