This is the Colombia Decaf brought to you by Good Folks Coffee. This decaf coffee from the Cauca region of Colombia was grown 1200-2000 meters above sea level and was decaffeinated using the E.A. (Ethyl Acetate) Sugarcane method.
Bag arrived with two holes in it on the sides at creases. The beans smelled nice, and was recently roasted, so it was probably fine and I tried it.
While the beans smelled good, like the flavor notes, the smell of the grinds and the brew was terrible–my friend on video asked what was wrong as he saw my face while tasting.
I found the body to be on the lighter side of medium, which was disappointing to me as I wanted a dark, bold roast. My rating is not based on that, however, but the nose and taste were undrinkable–to me.
