This is the Decaf Espresso Blend brought to you by Temple Coffee. Decaf coffees from Colombia and Guatemala were carefully chosen and blended together. Decaffeinated but not lacking in flavor, Temple's Decaf Espresso Blend offers classic notes of milk chocolate and pecan. A honey sweetness comes through the coffee’s medium body, which ends in a lingering finish.
subtle milk chocolate flavors could be more intense
I was pleasantly surprised. I made the assumption that the coffee would have an artificial chocolate flavor and as a result, undrinkable. I was completely wrong, the flavor was mild and extremely pleasant. Can’t wait to sample the next selection.
Excellent coffee. For me, it’s more full body than medium. Notes of chocolate and pecan do come through. Enjoyable.
This was quite good, though I had to up the coffee to water ratio to get it strong enough.
I'm still playing with the ratios but it was a bit dark. Liking the sweeter notes at the end
I liked this one a lot! The decaffness didn't seem like it took too much away from the flavor overall. Sorry I don't know what adjectives to use to describe what I liked about it!
Very smooth with a light nutty taste. Not a bold tasting coffee and somewhat lightly sweet.
This was my favorite so far. I'd be curious to know what their non-decaf is like. The aroma was just amazing! I made with a French press, and it was really delicious.
A bit too dark
Full bodied and so smooth! Does not need any sugar or cream. My son who poo-poos decaf coffee even enjoyed this coffee!
I've only had 2 cups of it but so far it has been delicious. Definitely rich flavors and I don't feel jittery or overly caffeinated like I do on some other decafs. I cold brewed the whole bag. Very pleased with this blend!
I don't have an espresso machine, so I'm not sure what this would taste like in that form, but as a pour-over, I found this to have an unpleasantly weird flavor and scent to it, with some burnt undertones (brewed at 205º). This was sent to me despite my unchecking Espresso as a preference, so I'm not super sure what the intention was on this one.
too heavy for me. didnt taste fresh, barely any smell to the beans.
It was outstanding so smooth and delicious!
Great flavor! Loved it for our lattes, however not as noteworthy for our pourovers (Chemex).
Beans rather overcooked; for espresso, have to use a really low brew ratio to minimize the "burnt" flavors. Reminiscent of an overcooked steak. Not a favourite.
Not a fan of the flavor!
Delicious. We made the coffee per the package instructions and are thoroughly enjoying it.
Bitter after taste
A good decaf
It was lovely!
I have a drip coffee machine so espresso ground doesn’t make much sense for me. Otherwise I think I would have really liked it
Really wonderful aroma, and the flavor was “lighter” and more nuanced than expected given that it’s an espresso roast. I brewed it using a home espresso maker, and used a burr grinder to grind the beans. Really happy!
Did not love this coffee. Don't taste the chocolate notes and its a bit dull in flavor
Loved the smell and the taste was good—not bitter and smooth.
It is really good and what a delight. I grind it on fine and have a Melitta drip. I am delighted.
I would also like to try a really dark coffee with a bit more of a bite..could I have a decaf with that next time?
Liked the sweetness and the mildness
I really liked it. Unfortunately, my grinder got jammed with a dark, oily coffee I was using right before. I had to dismantle it, clean the burrs and am wasting a bit of this coffee dialing back in the grinder.
