This coffee will be fresh roasted for you. We expect Good Folks Coffee will roast and ship this coffee in 1-2 business days depending on their roasting schedule.
This is the Fast Track Blend brought to you by Good Folks Coffee. This espresso blend is a combination of coffees from Colombia, Peru, and Tanzania. Dark brown sugar, caramel, roasted nuts and semi-sweet chocolate best describe what we taste, and we think it tastes great on its own or even with a little bit of milk.
Great coffee, would prefer something a little bolder in flavor though.
Great coffee! Smoothly with great flavor. Not too bitter.
I like the caramel and nut tones. A little more acidic than I like.
Won't even keep it as emergency coffee.
It smells amazing for a medium roast. Attempted to use as an espresso and was pleasantly surprised. It is a bit acidic when used as espresso, but if used in a french press you can taste more of the chocolate
The beans come off as nutty. When brewed the espresso you can definitely taste the rich chocolatey flavor. We brew a double shot with oat milk for a cappuccino and it was very good, but for maybe being a touch too mapley and sweet. Otherwise, great for espresso drinks and on its own.
First bag. Seems smoother than Copper Moon coffee.
This coffee is full-bodied and nutty. Exactly what I am looking for!
Maybe a little too bitter, not a smooth creamy finish
Some of the best coffee I've ever had.
It was a little too chocolate forward to my liking.
Pretty bitter in an Americano, but in a latte it was less noticeable. It was slightly on the bland side and I was looking for more of that chocolate.

Has an odd aftertaste. Roast is fairly light. Not a fan, sorry.
A little rich.
Smooth and noticed the nutty flavors more strongly than the chocolate ones. Although fun to experiment with, prefer fewer chocolate flavors.
Clarissa and Jonathon
Very good. We used a A1 Jura machine and it was very drinkable and light. A little too bitter for my taste. But overall very good
Enjoying this one, but it's a bit more on the bitter side than I usually like when pulled as a shot or in an Americano. Does well with a touch of sugar as a result, which helps bring out those dark chocolate notes. I didn't get much of the nutty flavor on my palette while brewing as espresso or Americano, but it did subtly show up with milk in a latte where this one seemed more suited for me.
Not bad! Lacking any strong flavors, but inoffensive overall.
A solid espresso that’s not too light, not too dark. A touch of sugar makes this a nice, espresso.
Good smell, flavors were not too complex. Tried it cold with some milk and it held up well.
Didn’t like the “nutty” taste
Honestly, the flavor was okay but it was not strong enough on the finish. More caramel and brown sugar flavor would make this a smoother brew. I make Latte's with my beans so I need the coffee to be stronger in flavor. I liked this but did not love it.
A bit overwhelming bitterness covers the underlying tastes.
Flavors felt a tad mild and bland for my preference
One of my favorites so far!
I really liked this one
Difficult to get dialed in; eventually had to over dose by a gram. A bit tart (if not sour) as a standalone shot but blended well with milk where the chocolate notes shined.
Really not my taste. Too acidic and not enough roasting flavors.
This was not bad, not spectacular. I used this for drip brewed coffee. Seems on the 'thick' side? Interesting flavor, but no distinct flavor notes. Probably not one I'd buy again.
Pretty good, maybe we were spoiled by having Caffe Del Sol first...
Excellent! Even my adult supervision of 50 years calls this one "pretty good!", which is her highest rating... WIll definitely order this one again.
It was a touch on the bitter side. Overall not a bad coffee. Not our favorite. Heather thought it was too "earthy", whatever that means.
It was great!
You're on your 2nd cup before you know it. Simply great coffee!
Lacked any real espresso base. When looking at the coffee itself you could see some baking that had occurred in side the beans with a darker color transition from the inside out. Lacked a proper roast development. Which made the coffee come off flat with any brew method.
Muddy, little crema, beans kind of dry, uninspired.
I really love this coffee. I would’ve loved the notes to be a little obvious.
Good strong flavors!
I love this coffee! It’s perfect for espresso and blends well with milk.
Loved it! The taste was great, definitely has a chocolate note.
Very good, smooth and rich once I got it dialed in.
This was my first Mistobox coffee and my goal was to be able to drink it black. I liked it best drunk as an espresso. It tasted smooth and only slightly bitter. I did not like it brewed with the pour over method. I tried different grinds and pour times and could not get the bitterness out of it. Characteristics that came to mind when experiencing this coffe on my novice palate were sour, grass, straw, ash, bitter, smooth.
We also enjoyed this coffee but seem to be comparing everything to the first bag. We enjoyed the flavor profile just not quite as much as bag one. Still a great cup of coffee.
I thought the beans ground into a nice brew, but in the future I prefer a more earthy and less augmented coffee ..As I have requested for the 2nd shipment. I like basics, without additives ..Like cheese and tomato pizza....No fanfare..Basic beans are best for Bill....
Flavor was good overall, some chalkiness that reminded me of a french roast that I am not a fan of.
The coffee was rich and very tasty and I could feel the chocolate and nutty notes described. I really enjoyed it, although I would probably like to try something more "fruity" on one of the next shipments.
A little on the darker side with more of an earthy taste.
beans were dry, roasted Aug, 2010 according to label
Very good, nice level of acidity
Simple and good flavor.
This coffee is good. I agree with tasting notes assigned.
Makes great cold brew. Haven’t tried it as espresso
This had a nice smooth flavor. Not too bold, just perfect for our tastes.
We use a Silvano Evo espresso maker and this gave us a near perfect pour right away. Enjoyed the rich, fully bodied shots with good crema. Paired both well on its own and with alternative milk for latte.
I did not care for this coffee. The flavor and aroma seemed weak, and never tasted its presumed chocolate and nutty taste. I prepared it a French press, with a tablespoon of course ground for each 3oz of water. I generally prefer arabica coffees because of their stronger flavor, but I find some dark roasts overly acidic
Beans were really nice. First shot pulled almost perfect. Tasted great as a cappuccino
This coffee impressed us, mild, soft, smooth taste. We are picky about the coffee. And this one let us order 3 extra bags of coffees, because the sent bag of coffee lasted 4 days. Loved it.
The nutty flavor does come through. But it is almost a spicy nuttiness to me. I have a hard time picking out the chocolate and richness. It's a balancing act to get a fine enough grind to get it rich enough for my taste without getting too fine and plugging the espresso machine charger. I think that for my taste I need something a little richer/bolder.
I loved this coffee. Excellent super rich flavor without being overpowering.
Fast Track blend has been amazing! It has a very smooth flavor and it’s not bitter.
I really liked this one - I'm not sure if its the brown sugar, caramel or chocolate element but something makes it just a bit too rich for me. Very interesting though. I like the direction and am excited to try the next one!
so good! so smooth. love the chocolate notes.
This was my first ever freshly roasted coffee and I really enjoyed it. It was amazingly smooth and amazingly flavorful. And the next day I was very excited to try it. Since I was waking up to a very busy day. And it was alright but not as good as the day before. But still good. The third day though I brewed the coffee as I normally did and it was not good, almost to the point I didn’t want to drink it. Very bitter and very acidic. I brewed my espresso coffee in my French press for 8 minuets. And I’ve been reducing the amount of time. But it still is not drinkable. Still very acidic and very bitter.
This was my first from MistoBox and first fresh coffee with my new espresso machine. The espresso was awesome. Rich tasting, no bitterness. One of the best I’ve ever had and definitely the #1 best I’ve every made. Rich is a good adjective. Some hints of chocolate and nuts. Just good. The bag ripped right away - the only bummer.
Not for me
I loved it as an iced latte; one of the best I've tried. As an espresso shot, it was a bit muted and too well-rounded as to being almost boring. Made a good Cortado but still missing something.
This coffee was almost perfect, not oily and very smooth. I would be willing to try something slightly darker if it is not oily. Oils tend to gum up the grinder on my SAECO coffee machine.
Great coffee. A bit understated in my cappuccinos, even after I tried reducing the milk:coffee ratio. Looking for something a bit fuller-bodied and more towards the nutty, cocoa, brown sugar flavor profile.
I liked this one a lot!
Smooth and chocolaty dominant. I am looking for something with a bit more kick on flavors ( some fruit mixes) this was good just a bit of a a safe bet
Maybe our pallets aren't refined enough yet but we just didn't taste all the flavors described. The nuttiness yes, but nothing else.
First sniff: The smell when I opened the box was incredible. A fresh nuttiness and a slight caramel note on the fragrance that hit my nostrils.
First cup: It took a couple tries to get my grind the way I liked it but once I did the aroma of the espresso did indeed have chocolatey and nutty notes with a richness of 70% dark chocolate and the subtle aroma, to me, of freshly roasted cashews. I ultimately made it a long black but the espresso itself had a vibrant and almost acidic berry taste that hit you in the salivary glands at first. When I added the espresso to the hot water I also added a small amount of half and half and some stevia and the fat from the half and half brought forth the nutty notes and it finished with a dark chocolate bitterness that rounded out the acidity of the berry notes and combined well with the slight nuttiness I got from the original aroma of opening the bag.
All in all quite a pleasurable introduction to this roaster and to MistoBox.
I like this for my new espresso machine! I’m not sure I’d love it as much for cold brew though... this might be a silly question but do certain roasts (or beans) have more caffeine than others? Are there any tips you have for tasting espresso?
John + Axie
We loved it. Good, smooth flavor without being overwhelming, or cloying. Not bitter, and with a great aftertaste. Really enjoyed as a long black.
The flavor and the nose were both there but this coffee was a little too thin. I probably botched the questionnaire :D
Extra smooth and just as described. It was great on its own and excellent in a cappuccino.
I had a hard time getting the grind on this and wasted 90% of the bag on trying to get to the right settings. I felt this could've had potential but cant really give it a good rating.
It was very bold/rich. great tasting as a black coffee with no creamer. Did add a little eventually. Strong but good morning!
This coffee definitely tastes great, but I didn't like that it was a blend. It had a strong nutty flavor but not so much of a chocolate. I prefer a smooth rich coffee and I didn't get that from this coffee
Bold but very creamy finish. Earthy and chocolate flavors. Very good espresso coffee!
Smooth, but a bit one-note. Definitely got the chocolate flavor, but missed the other notes.
Good, and the notes given are very accurate. That said, I would like to try more adventurous things that stray away from bigger vanilla, caramel, chocolatey notes.
Really great coffee! Enjoyed the smooth and flavor taste. Loved the richness of the coffee when i made esspresso.
We liked the subtle bitter chocolate notes. But this was a bit of a darker roast than we prefer. We also generally stick to Single Origins instead of blends.
Chris & Abi
Very balanced, smooth taste. Really enjoyed it. Paired great with homemade almond milk which is always important to us. Thanks!
It was deliciuos, however, I'd like something with just a touch more high notes :-) . This was all smooth and dark notes
Awesome coffee! Definitely would try this one again. Very rich and satisfying taste.
A bit mild, but it was good. I would be fine ordering it in the future. Nothing spectacular stood out though,
Not my favorite!
Aroma = OK.
Taste = Good. Like the roast level. Thought it had a balanced flavor. Tastes like more.
Interested in trying others but would get this again sometime.
It's a nice coffee overall, but it felt a little too sweet, and I didn't really like the chocolate notes. I liked its smoothness and the level of roast seems good.
Loved this blend.
Fantastic Coffee blend!
I love it, made mostly Cappuccino and Espresso
One of my favorites so far
This made phenomenal espresso--rich flavor and crema; consistent even after a few days of being open; a rare find.
Good coffee, I got some definite chocolate and nutty flavors. Enjoyed it very much but want to try different blends. Keep them coming!
Great chocolate and a well balanced hazelnut flavor. Reminded me of a less sweet nutella in a good way! Right where I think I like it on the roast spectrum!
A little too mild, needs to be slightly darker but not smoky, also too nutty.& caramel, Maybe a little too sweet in the overall structure of the coffee.
I liked it....consistent bean size and roast, not THAT much chocolate (which is GOOD). I really got a nice whiff of peanut butter after letting the coffee sit for a few days. I usually go @ six days after roast to let the beans de-gas.
Got my grind dialed in pretty quickly......19g.....40g output......25 sec
Like I said....I liked it.
Pretty good - but, a bit too sweet for my taste.
I enjoyed the coffee very much. I definitely picked up on the chocolate notes. I’m fairly new to espresso at home and am open to trying wide range of different types of roasts and blends to figure out what I like. I’m not really sure what my preferences are yet. Thanks!
So good. I can taste all the sweet notes. Produces really nice creme.
Very very good.
A solid blend with medium-heavy body and balanced flavors throughout. Bakers chocolate sweetness is certainly noticeable. Good coffee overall, but lacks exciting tasting notes in the acidity. Nothing especially special or surprising in the tasting notes.
Flavor was lacking once brewed. Beans smelled great but when ground and brewed the flavor was lost.
I really liked this coffee! This was the very first time I got to grind my own coffee beans and it was a game changer. This blend had a deeply nutty and rich flavor!
Nicely balanced - definitely could taste the caramel notes.
Too light. Not enough flavor, prefer a darker roast
It's good, but I think maybe a little too sour/tart overall for my taste. A little milk helps balance it out, but on it's own I think the Fast Track has a little too much of the semi-sweet chocolate. Perhaps my Aeropress process just does not mesh well with this coffee.
For the record, I grind about 30g of the beans as fine as I can and add them to my Aeropress. I pour in about 100g of water at 195 degrees and stir for 15 seconds, then plunge to extract the espresso.
If you have comments about a better process, please let me know. Thanks!
Nice crema and earthy smell. Tartness (which I tend to like) overtakes the chocolate and nutty flavors, but they are still there. On the richer, fuller side but am looking for more.
Phenomenal. I'm not given to strong language, but Great Odin's Beard this coffee was delicious.
Love it. Would not enjoy if it was any lighter. Great flavor and aroma. Don't send anything with a lighter roast than this, a little darker would be great.
Justin & Kelly
a little too light, and little too nutty! But we still are enjoying it!
I really liked this coffee. I loved the balance of the flavor notes. It wasn't too acidic and had a really good body to it. Overall I loved this coffee.
Awesome, my favorite so far
Excellent blend. Good example of a dense medium roast. Notes of chocolate, maple syrup and nuttiness delivered very smoothly. Found it to be a little bit lacking in punch as an espresso but really shines as an aeropress.
Roast Level: Perfect.
Flavor as an espresso: Perfect. Couldn't have asked for a smoother espresso.
Flavor as a latte: Adding some milk for a latte took away its smoothness and made it feel a bit bland.
Tasting Notes : The cocoa and maple notes weren't strong enough. It still made an excellent cup of coffee. Would be willing to try a coffee that has more vibrant notes.
The taste fell flat. Packaging was nice.
Strong flavors of semi-sweet chocolate, caramelized sugar, and a mild hint of berries. Preferred it in a latte, but would drink as straight espresso as well.
Smooth and balanced, though a bit tame for us. Looking for something with a slightly bigger/bolder taste.
I could not figure out how to dial in this espresso. Every pull tasted weak.
Espresso was good, not great
This coffee while tasted okis not something we would seek out. Not really memorable in any way.
It's good, not great. I've had coffees with better chocolate notes, the maple was nice, not too much. Not something I'd buy again for myself.
This was a great coffee. The roast is nice. I would be open to a roast that is a little darker next time as well, just to mix it up (not oily dark, though). I like the chocolate and nutty flavors. I appreciate that it is not bitter, or floral. Good pick!
Brewed as espresso, the shot presents with strong toasted sugars and chocolate flavors. Shot pours with a lot of crema. Would do again though prefer a bit less in the sugar/caramel notes.
Nutty. Messed with the grind to pick up other tones. Chocolate, Semi-Sweet. No Bitterness
Very good. Coffee is smooth and has good depth.
Well balanced, slight chocolaty notes, not quite as full bodied as I would have liked but over all enjoyed it.
It was good, but would like more robust flavors. I am using the coffee to make espresso at home.
I think it didn't seem full/rich enough. Maybe I would like a darker roast, flavor wise.
This was great! We made it on our espresso machine and loved it! Would love to try other similar coffees from your company.
I liked the flavor profile but this was actually a little light for my tastes. I found that with a little cream, this lost a lot of that richness.
Good balanced espresso. Smooth finish and good chocolate flavors.
Good, lots of nuttiness. Would prefer a little more well rounded flavor.
This was great as an espresso. Smooth and no bitterness. The nutty flavor was a little overwhelming for my taste, but it didn't ruin it for me
Nathan and Liz
Good - not super flavorful though.
Definitely strong chocolate flavor. Smell upon opening box, caramel, chocolate, and nutty. Perfect for cold mornings.
Wasn’t very good
This was a delicious cup of coffee. This was a coffee I could see myself drinking every day. Loved the rich flavor without the bitterness.
Very good! Tried it in a moka pot, french press, and chemex. I love the flavor profile and really enjoy it. I do feel like it turns bitter rather quickly each sip--there's a bunch of great nuttiness up front, but it quickly dissipates. A version of this with a little less edge and a more full-bodied sip would be 5 stars for me.
Balanced, smooth, chocolatey, earthy--would like it a little less citrusy
Morgan & Karen
We liked the coffee, great choice, I know this might limit our options but we would like decaf for the next shipment, we can be more detailed on the next coffee selection
Good flavor, pulled shots easily
The coffee was good. I’m not too big on the maple taste, I feel it was the most distinct than the other flavors.
I did find the coffee nice and rich, but a little too bitter for me. I added sugar, which I prefer not to do. Open to suggestions.
Fantastic espresso shots, I didn't realize I had the power to make such great cappuccinos and lattes til made them with this coffee.
Full bodied but definitely not nutty. A bit on the citrus side. Prefer something with a little robusta in it.
very good. liked the lingering dark chocolate after taste. nice body. a bit to citrus y at the first sip. probably like a slight darker roast. also i was sent espresso. i tend to make mostly aeropress.
Made excellent espresso
This was a good espresso. Can't say anything outstanding about it but I enjoyed it. Well rounded, easy drink and dark chocolatey but lacked the sweetness.
Good coffee - touch of citrus? Not as chocolate or caramel as I expected, but rich just the same.
We've enjoyed a couple cups so far and are pleased. It's not as robust as we are typically used to, but the flavor notes are on point. This is a great "everyone will love this" espresso!
Nutty to the point of being bitter. The coffee also tastes of apple.
Ariel and Donovan
Good coffee, but this was a little light for mine and my husband's taste.
Full body taste
Love this flavor.
Roast was great. The smell was super nice. The flavor was on point. I got to try something new and I liked it. :) Thanks so much for doing a great job.
Haven't been able to find the sweet spot with this roast. It is very light with very subtle flavors. Semi-sweet is a good descriptor as it is dry with slight sweetness. Each cup so far has left me wanting for something a little more exciting.
Really easy to pull consistent tasty shots. Milk chocolate with the occasional hint of fruit, slightly sweet. A comfort coffee.
I really liked this blend it doesn't have a ton of standout flavors put pulls really easy and consistently.
This coffee is fantastic. Lots of nutty, rich flavor. Smells wonderful when brewed.
It is tougher to make espresso with, as the ground seems very sensitive to grind size changes and tamping pressure changes, can make a large variation in pressure on the machine. May be better to try one that is more suited for espresso.
I love me some fresh deliciuos coffee.. the body itself is so rich and smooth & I pulled two shots of espresso and they were fantastic & deliverd beautiful crema..
Very good, not super bold. Medium weight, golden caramel flavors, some acidity
It was good but I would have liked a stronger, nuttier flavor for my lattes
Really enjoyed it! Very smooth and light, easy to drink!
I couldn't quite get the crema I wanted from these beans. I would comment on the flavor, but allergies, coupled with a sinus infection, impacted my sense of taste for almost the entire month of me going through the bag...
I like the taste of this coffee in general. It is a bit light for me though.
great flavour and good strength
I would prefer a bit more of a fruity flavor to the coffee.
One of our favorites
This is really smooth with a touch of sweet at the end. I don't like a lot of sweetness and this was perfect. It was very nice poured over ice.
Nutty flavors. Very much satisfied with the selection. It would help if misto box provides optimum brew temperature pressure, coffee input weight vs output to give us a baseline to experimenting .
not for me
The taste doh! So good and does the job.
The beans ground much coarser than others, even on my grinder's finest setting. I could never really pull a good shot.
It's good but bit simple.
This was very good coffee. It tasted very rich and creamy.
Loved this the second time around. Sweet and rich through the whole bag. Not much bitterness.
A little bit too simple for my taste. I would prefer something with a little stronger flavor.
it was very smooth.
Flavor is distinct but not overwhelming. Chocolate notes are apparent. Would not be my "go to", but definitely would drink again.
Full, rich and tasty! Great coffee!
We like this blend. It seams balanced.
Bad is harsh - but while the coffee was smooth - it was kind of flavorless. I have preferred Counter Culture Big Trouble or 49th Parallel Old School/Middle School Espresso flavor profiles.
this was ok. i may have had one shot that was about a 4, but nothing special and nothing bad
Not much flavor to this one- all the flavors that I love in espresso are there (the hazelnut and chocolate)but barely noticeable.- No real body to the coffee either. All in all a bland coffee.
It was sweeter than I normally prefer. I also would like to dry a slightly darker roast.
Flavorful medium roast coffee
Really good overall. Pretty much spot on flavor profile for the espresso milk drinks I usually make.
Excellent flavor. Not too strong, but still tastes like a good coffee. Mixes well with milk for lattes and cortados.
Delicious. Love it.
Maybe a little more roast than the previous but very similar to the others. Better as an americano than an espresso.
Fast Track is one of the best espressos I've ever brewed. It pairs perfectly with milk and has all the right flavors. Big thumbs up to these beans.
Fine... I think as the description implies why there was nothing that really stood out.
Made for better espresso than press.
We like this espresso. The color of the bean is nice and it's good in a latte. We found that we were making it as strong as we could to bring out more flavor.
A nice, sweet blend with various taste notes, which makes it interesting. It's not up there with my favorites, but it's very good for serving guests with different palates.
Love this blend for a wide array of espresso based drinks. Makes for a perfect espresso. The flavors aren't too overpowering allowing you to add flavors of your own, if you prefer.
Great coffee. Love the taste when prepared as straight espresso. Sweet with a slightly nutty taste. Would purchase again // Espresso Machine: La Marzocco Linea Mini // Grinder: Mazzer Super Jolly // Grind Level: 9.4
Flavor is good, but blend seems manipulated for an overly strong chocolate/sweet taste.
Full bodied and easy drinking. Not as complex as other ones we have tried with less tasty notes at the back of palate
