The Headwall Espresso was blended and roasted for you by Evans Brothers Coffee Roasters. Roasted in the northern Italian style for espresso, this medium-light espresso is a an all around approachable espresso that is chocolaty and nutty with sweet fruity acidity and a bright finish.
Great flavor, very forgiving coffee. Really enjoyed the cups it produced
I found the taste mild and lacking in depth or complexity. I was looking for the acidity and bright finish...but they did not come through.
Description is extremely accurate.
I really enjoyed this, i found it to be a good all around daily espresso. I haven't even tried any milk drinks with it because i like it so much as a shot or americano.
Great espresso for a latte. Notes of nutty caramel in milk. The fruit flavor comes through more when standing on its own
Low acidity and smooth. Loved it.
More full bodied than we like. Fruit didnt really come through. Was more nutty, earthy, carmel notes, no real acid either.
FYI we only ever use the coffee to make 2 things, Americano and a Late with honey or agave
Similar to Blue Orchid Blend. Obviously really quality beans, but didn't have the brightness I love so much.
Loved the hazelnut flavor.
Nice balance to the coffee. Chocolate is subtle letting the brightness from the fruit come through.
Didn’t pull a great shot on espresso. Felt a bit one dimensional, maybe it was a bit staler than stated?
Blew my taste-buds away as espresso - Delicious and complex flavors. Holds up well when brewed with v60 too,
This was the best coffee! The fruit-forward flavor was excellent as an espresso shot.
Good breakfasty espresso.
Very bland, mild and flat tasting. Not much depth or complexity. Bitter sting residual in your mouth afterward. I would not have this again.
This was an absolutely fantastic espresso. Bordering on chocolatey without bitterness, fruity without trending towards sour.
This was a remarkable coffee. I would happily drink this as a staple.
First sniff: The smell when I opened the box was filled with hints of cocoa and a slight citrus (think orange grove) scent that wafted from the filter of the bag when I squeezed it.
First cup: The espresso had a phenomenal crema and it had a slight bitterness that was citrusly astringent on the tongue. I added some half and half and stevia as a long black and notes of cocoa came way forward with a minimal amount of the citrus astringency peeking its head around the strong cocoa notes.
This is a very mellow yet tasty blend that has no real bitterness. I had a Starbucks brew one day while out after starting this one and the super bitterness of the Starbucks brew, something I used to really like, was definitely lacking in comparison to the toasty flavors of this selection.
All in all, quite pleased with this offering and would recommend it for a toasty, cocoa brew with slights hints of orange notes to round out the flavor profile.
It really makes a great espresso with a phenomenal crema.
A great coffee and one I will, at some point, re-order after I try some additional bags!
Unfortunately, this espresso felt flat and lacked any distinct flavor profile.
Very good espresso. Excellent combination of chocolaty and fruity. Pulled excellent. Would get again in a heartbeat.
Really good dark and berry flavors.
I really enjoyed the body of this coffee. It left me satisfied after every sip. Plus the packaging is beyond cool. I have been considering buying more of this soon!
Really loved the complexity of this coffee while still mainting a very drinkable and mild intensity. The flavors could have been more pronounced and richer, but definitely a great cup either way!
I wasn't crazy about the fruity notes in this coffee.

No chocolate, please. We prefer robust, not frilly coffees, and we use a French press.
