The Sugar Bee Espresso was blended and roasted for you by Tony's Coffee. This combination of coffees from Latin America and Africa create a unique harmony of flavors that are greater than the sum of its parts. Sugar Bee produces an exceptionally sweet and heavy-bodied espresso and is an excellent option for drip as well.
I like the taste. It has a hint of sweetness. One of the best so far.
A new favorite! Such a smooth, creamy cup!
These beans lean towards the Light-Medium side which was good, but slightly too light a roast for my preference.
Loved the tasting notes. Made for a clean espresso
this one is not doing much for me. it's not that it's a bad coffee, it's just that there's nothing too distinct about it.
Thought this was actually nice—have jumped between cups of coffee and espresso shots. Both tasted great, and love the packaging
Too dark, bitter
It was OK. Had a hard time getting the recipe right with this one.
Good coffee, too blended for me, not as sweet as described
Was hard to dial in for some reason. Tasted good when shots were good but good shots were rare.
Loved the chocolate notes but the after taste thru me
This is exactly what I want in a coffee! The profile, roast, deepness. Would love to find more similar to this.
Really enjoy the forward-facing taste of the honey. Hit in our house. Second try was not as flavorful. Charred taste.
excellent and well balanced
Really very good! Solid overall flavor. The chocolate notes are good but wish I could coax the fruitier tones out that are described.
Super bitter. Did not like.
The amount of coffee in the back was not work the price. If this is what I get from Tony's I will be taking them off my lineup.
muddy, burnt, too complex
Perfect roast for my Breville espresso maker. Great flavor and excellent roast provided a nice shot for lattes, or just by itself
Our favorite so far. Very creamy and smooth. Like a desert drink
This was smooth and sweet and went great with milk. Will order again!
I found that it tasted better after I ground it a little finer than I usually do for drip.
This was too bitter for me. I tried brewing multiple ways with different amounts and it never tasted nearly as sweet as I expected it to be.
The milk chocolate notes were particularly noticeable. However, a perfect shot was not easily reproducible. I would probably rate this a 5 if I could get those milk chocolate notes every time.
Pretty good, overall very well rounded bean juice.
Quite a flat flavor, light chocolate. Smooth.
Tasted old and bitter
Straightforward medium roast that works in and out of milk, can't go wrong.
We simply loved this - excellent espresso!
The sweetness came out. I used a combination of frothed 1/2 & 1/2 and fresh whole milk that enhanced the full body.
Zach and Kim
Very weak and subtle, couldn’t really taste anything
Great taste and good for capps and lattes. The crema from this bean is exceptional. My favorite from Mistobox so far.
It's too bitter for my taste. I drink strong coffee 2 cups a day. Don't like the bitterness
This everything an espresso should be! Very aromatic: smell of chocolate and nuts. This espresso is a very creamy smoot crema layer with smooth flavor profile with noticeable chocolate and light nutty flavor.
This is my favorite coffee ever! Smooth, delicious, irresistible! I can't get enough of it
I think I may just prefer lighter roasts and fruiter coffee. Easy to dial in, but not very exciting.
It was a lot more acidic than we prefer and didn't have a rich enough coffee flavor when pulled in an espresso shot.
Amazing. So delicious, perfect fruit-tinged sweetness, evenly balanced. One of the best Americanos I've ever had
Bland, boring, a little bitter. Terrible coffee. Had two cups and threw the rest out.
Great taste profile, good for a regular cup of coffee, not too exciting.
A good coffee overall. Couldn't shake the hint of bitterness no matter how I adjusted it, with and without milk.
The crema this espresso created was incredible
This was great with milk.
This was my first "artisan" or "high-end" coffee not directly from the grocery store and I have been very happy with it! Love the sweetness of the coffee without having to add anything!
Liked the flavor of this, was fun trying espresso
This is now my wife's favorite coffee. She enjoys the mouthfeel and weight as much as the balance between chocolate and roast. I was unable to taste due to COVID taking taste and smell from me temporarily, but it felt good to drink :)
My personal favorite so far.
I loved this. "Sweet and heavy-bodied" is right, I love how little acidity I tasted.
Very tasty and strong. I expected a sweeter profile, but I loved it overall
my favorite yet
I have made this my standard espresso blend. It has a great crema (which I know is not popular these days, but my wife and I love it). It's sweet, and is very forgiving with over- and under extraction.
Stronger than I would typically enjoy - maybe a bit on the bitter side.
Just want to make sure that I am getting an espresso grind - this bag said "Drip Coffee Grind"
Excellent espresso.. smooth, great flavor.. will add to my queue again!
Yum! Good amount of darkness
Not as robust as I hoped. Tasted nuttiness but the other notes never really came through
Very dark and bold, but very smooth and with low acidity!
Accurate to the tasting notes. Needs to be a little more bold to hold up to milk. Ultimately really good though.
One of my faves!! Perfectly balanced!
Nuttyness came across tasting like peanut butter.
Great robust coffee with hints of honey. Not overly sweet though for the description.
Pretty good, but not consistent in the taste. A higher dose may have helped. I run 18.5g normally, but 20g+ (as used in my final shot with this bag) yielded more taste. Makes a beautiful shot, but taste not so robust.
Love this espresso.
Loved the syrupy aspect, didn’t taste honey. Had a slightly higher acidity than I like. Still a very tasty coffee and great with milk.
