The Colombia Aponte Honey was carefully roasted for you by Red Rooster Coffee. This Honey processed coffee was grown by the Inga indigenous community in the Nario region of Colombia between 1,900 and 2,200 meters above sea level. Notes of cherry, watermelon, strawberry, and candied orange, with a honey-like sweetness.
Fruity and wonderfully acidic when brewed a lower temp and coarse grind
I did catch a small note of watermelon, but this coffee was just not as fruit forward as I had hoped. Tried with pour over (2 different recipes), and French press. Just couldn't pull out that fruit note much more. I would rate 4 or 5 if I had been able to.
This is my favorite coffee I have tried on the site so far. I had this multiple times in a day and I want to re-order it! The juiciness and sweetness was so pleasant. LOVE THIS COFFEE
