The Colombia Santa Barbara Estate was carefully roasted for you by Brandywine Coffee Roasters. This fully washed coffee was grown at the Santa Barbara Estate in the Antioquia region of Colombia between 1,400 - 2,000 meters above sea level. The coffee is full bodied with notes of dark chocolate and roasted nuts.
I enjoyed it. It tasted fruity. A little to light for me.
Really good - chocolatey and bold, slightly sweet. Smooth and tasty cup.
tasted overroasted and a little thin even with the bold first sip
A little too dark for my personal taste, but for people who love darker roasts and chocolate-y notes this is a great coffee.
It is a lighter roast. By weight, the caffeine content per espresso shot is less than I would like. It is sweet. The ground beans had a bright red/bright brown color which is refreshing. But overall the sweetness takes over. I wish the roast was a bit darker, it would probably be better.
Loved it! Has a very nice nutty flavor. Great for pour-over coffee.
Good balanced coffee
Favorite coffee so far
Really delicious brew with all the notes you list present -- very chocolatey and full.
A bit chocolaty, mostly nutty & roasty.
A solid , medium roast offering, reminded me of Auggies
Loved this one. Rich, velvety and yummy chocolate. One of my favs.
This coffee wasn’t bad, very drinkable but I didn’t feel anything special about it.
A real favorite, absolutely delicious!
found it sweet, did not like it.
OMG! This is the BEST coffee ever! Please don't hesitate to send this one to me again!
Smooth sipping coffee. Enjoy brewing this using my Clever. Pairs nice with an after dinner dessert.
I loved this coffee. It was very balanced and tasted well when brewed on several different devices.
Just regular coffee. Wasn't impressed by the smell of the beans whole or ground. Not picking up on any complexity. Very drinkable, but just an average cup of coffee.
Surprisingly good. Tasting notes were on point - and amount to a classically tasting coffee -with a lively, juicy character that is fun to drink. A treat.
Overly nutty, weak, nothing special or memorable.
Very good, but a bit subtle in milk drinks.
A little too rich and/or acidic.
Clean, not at all bitter. A coffee that tastes like coffee. Would order again.
Loved as espresso - single origin Colombian never disappoints that way.
Loved it! perfect flavor balance good with milk or flavored creamers. smells heavenly. Nice hit of chocolate tones.
This was way too sweet. Could not drink large quantities.
It's a little too acidic for me to really love it. Maybe I'm preparing it incorrectly, but I wouldn't want this again.
Live this coffee!! Great flavor, not too bitter, but not too mild. Of course, I like all coffees made FROM Colombian beans, so I might just be biased
Wow. By far my favorite coffee so far! Really pronounced chocolate and nutty flavors. But the best part is the body and texture of the coffee. It has a thick consistency to it, almost creamy.
It was good, not as full bodied as I had wanted though. Nutty and chocolaty.
Really enjoyed this one. We liked the light roast but full body.
very good, easy to drink black
Phenomenally smooth and complex coffee. When brewed as espresso, pulls a beautiful shot with a nice crema. One of the best coffees Ive ever had.
Really nice flavor profile, only used a little bit of creamer and no sugar ever.
This may be the best coffee we've gotten through our subscription. I won't even ramble about tasting notes, other than to say it's rich, complex, unapologetically "coffee" at its core and absolutely fantastic. It is a bit acidic for my ideal tastes, but I've come to accept that with modern roasts and temper it with a little milk (coming from a four-decades-long black coffee drinker).
I'm a fanatic about the smell of unbrewed , and this one was amazing. The beans, both ground and unground, had so much complexity...sweet and chocolatey of course, but also hints of caramel and a very definite pipe tobacco that was very much a good thing. If there's a heaven, mine will have a room that smells like this, lol. Honestly, I'm tempted to change my subscription to get this and only this from now on!
Very robust flavor, but the profile is too acidic for my taste

This one had absolutely no flavor. The worst selection I've received so far :(
This coffee is super weak. I would never have described this coffee as bold.
Buttery and smooth but still bold. Very enjoyable straight black.
Loved this roast.
Very smooth and balanced as far as I can tell. Lighter quality to it than I expected. Didn't get the nutty flavors as much as the bitterness of chocolate but I still enjoyed each cup. Noticed how uniform the grind was with these beans using my hand grinder which led to a tastier brew using a Hario V60. Adorable packaging.
Smooth and mellow, chocolatey and delicious.
A good cup. Perhaps a bit too mellow but has good a good creamy body with some nice nutty chocolate notes.
Lots of chocolate, but slightly bitter and tastes a bit burnt. Have enjoyed other Columbians more, but this isn't bad.
Least favorite of the coffees so far, for me just feels like a generic coffee.
Very smooth. I drink Latte's.
Great flavor! Sweet finish.
Satisfying. I could definitely pick out the chocolate and nutty flavors. Made some nice cups of coffee.
Incredible aroma before brewing. Body was slightly too thin. Chocolate overpowered by Nutmeg. Good cup.
This is OK, but when I've made it thus far, the acidity seems fairly high on the initial tasting. Only very subtle other flavors follow afterward. This is more 'acidic' than my preferences.
Not sure why, but this coffee made me feel a bit nauseous. It happened on several occasions because it didn’t occur to me until the fourth or fifth time that the coffee could be the culprit (part of my usual routine) ... I switched to the next bag in my queue and felt fine.
I was very surprised to drink this one - it threw me off my expectations as normally the coffee I favor tends to lend itself to Chocolatey hints, then the acidity levels. This one was backward; though light, the acidity (which is very palatable) is noticed first, then the notes are last, lending to a satisfying finish! :D
A delicious cup of coffee w/ wonderful aromas. Almost don't need to grind & brew, just open bag & inhale deeply!
This one is amazing - send again please.
more tart than i liked
I liked the chocolatey nutty flavor notes and that it stood up to cream. Was more successful brewed in via Aeropress. As a pour-over it was a little too bitter. Slightly too bold and lacked some fruit notes that my partner prefers. Also did not bloom like it was super fresh.
The coffee was full bodied and I was easily able to discern the nut and chocolate flavors. I'm still getting used to using my pour-over so I don't think I always prepared it perfectly. Some of the cups that I made were surprisingly bright and almost sharp tasting. I'm not sure if that is the method I was using or if it was part to the flavor profile. All in all, I liked the coffee very well.
This coffee is good and rich. We still prefer the Quills, but this comes in second.
delicious! packaging was the best yet
Nutty and smooth. Body is a little light.
Super, but less super than others.
A pretty well-rounded coffee, with some subtle citrusy notes. A bit light for my taste though.
Weak on flavor
Very good body with nutty flavor that comes through but isn't too strong. I enjoyed this one a lot.
