Excellent brew. Very well balanced and I love the hint of grass.
I brew with a Hario V60 copper kettle kit. I am using a Fellow Ode burr grinder and I have it pegged at 4 for this.
I brew to standard measurements (I use ounces because grams confuse me, so .75 oz. beans to 12 oz. water). I do the requisite 30-45 second bloom technique followed by slow pourover for the rest, totaling 3-4 min.
I can add more tasting notes as I notice them later but I basically want to say I'm very impressed with this coffee. I've been trying all the expensive hard to find brands and haven't found anything that blows me away. This isn't too acidic or bitter, it's smooth as silk and the tasting notes as provided by Mixto seem accurate. I love it.
One of my favorite Colombians
It does not have a nutty or chocolate taste to me. Has an acidic kind of sweetness to it with cream and sugar. Not great not bad
good well balanced cup of coffee
Rich, chocolatey, nutty. Almost a bit too overwhelming, could be a little less bold.
Very very good. Dark chocolate and sweet with very minimal acidity
