This is the Ethiopia Shakiso brought to you by Topeca Coffee Roasters. This Full Natural coffee was sourced from the growing region of Shakiso, Guji in Ethiopia and was grown by Ismel Hassen between 1900 and 2200 meters above sea level.
Juicy, sweet. Very pleasant to drink. Made it on a Chemex - 45g coffee, 700g water.
If this is a light to med roast their dark roast must be charcoal
This is more like a medium-dark roast than a light-medium roast that they indicated on the packaging. Either this batch was over roasted, or their idea of roast level is way off. Due to the darkness of the roast, it reminds me of peet's coffee. raspberry/chocolate notes.
Good coffee, but didn't leave an impression.
this was one of my favorite Ethiopian coffees. the fruity notes were unusual & complex, not heavily fruit forward but a nice balance of raspberry tempered with floral notes.
