The Guatemala Maracaturra Washed was carefully roasted for you by PT's Coffee Roasting Co. This Fully Washed Guatemalan coffee was grown 1,753 meters above sea level by Finca El Socorro in Palencia. Aromas of milk chocolate, chamomile, and nougat introduce this round-bodied light-medium roast. We found notes of clementine, black tea, and yellow apple. The aftertaste features coriander and shortbread.
Honestly, this is sadly pretty close to undrinkable. There's a really dark roast/burnt note to this, which is surprising as it's listed as a light-medium and PT's is really well respected. It's a bummer as I was excited to see a Maracaturra varietal AND it's from the El Soccoro farm.
It really tastes like this batch was roasted outside of its profile and sent out anyway.
