The Honduras Proyecto Cabañas was carefully roasted for you by Metric Coffee Co. This naturally processed coffee was sourced from the growing region of La Paz in Honduras and was produced by Jose Mercedes, Alex Ponce, and Jorge Marin between 1,550 - 1,730 meters. The cup is a melange of lively fruit notes ranging from watermelon candy, concord grape, grapefruit zest, and berries with a sugarcane sweetness.
Exclusively brewed as espresso. This coffee is a beaut!
This coffee is probably my favorite so far from Misto. It is sweet & easy to brew. I’ve had it over & under extracted in my attempt to dial it in just right. At grind 19/20 on my Encore using 12g of coffee for a small 6oz. cup it is extremely tasty. It’s very good in 10oz. cup at 20g of coffee but the flavor becomes more broad lacking some of the finer nuances I noticed in the smaller cup. I think the grape & grapefruit taste stand out more for me than a sense of watermelon candy as noted on bag.
Pleasant, relatively free of defects, but otherwise unmemorable. I'm attempting to remember how it tasted and very little is coming to mind. Maybe some spices upfront and a little fruit at the end? Following by an alkaline dryness? I'm drawing a blank. Definitely an improvement over the unpleasant neuva vinas organic.
Clean natural. Very fruity but not blueberry like Ethiopian naturals. Dynamic and interesting flavors.
