This coffee will be fresh roasted for you. We expect Barefoot Coffee Roasters will roast and ship this coffee in 1-2 business days depending on their roasting schedule.
The Mexico Esperia was carefully roasted for you by Barefoot Coffee Roasters. Grown by small holder producers in the Jaltenango, Villacorzo Chiapas region at 1,100 - 1,500 meters, this fully washed coffee is a perfect example of why we love coffees from Mexico. This coffee has a dark chocolate aroma that lead to notes of fudge and hazelnuts with a creamy body and caramel finish.
Flavors were not that bold nor bursting. Wish smell was stronger.
another smooth, rich brew. Nice!
Very good smooth coffee. I love how fresh the roast is and how deep the carmally flavors are.
Very good coffee!
Nice and dark but a little too chocolate-y for me. I like how it wasn't oily which makes it easier for my hopper to feed into my coffee machine
Very dark and rich. Enjoyed it.
Liked the best
Really good... surprisingly.
I ground 30 grams and thought it was a little light on taste.
Hi - my coffee was literally full of ants. Specifically, when I opened the MistoBox ants poured out and then there were many more in the bag so I had to throw it out. I'm wondering if I can get a replacement?
Really nice. Fudgy for sure. Buttery and sweet with pleasant bitterness.
Not a fan at all. Too dark for my taste.
Super smooth. Well balanced. One of the better ones sent to us!
The aroma of the beans in the bag were dark chocolate with a hint of buttered popcorn. Once ground, the aroma changed to a deep roasty smell. After brewing, there was a nuttiness to the aroma. The flavor was a mix of carmel, chocolate, and almonds. It had a clean finish. Delicious.
Bag says dark roast, definitely brews like a dark roast. It's fine for what it is, but not what the "medium-light" classification from Mistobox would suggest.
It smelled really good, with a unique mix of chocolate and berries (almost like an african and south american blend). But the taste just wasn't good even close. Even though it was freshly roasted (within 4 days), it was a touch bitter and too heavily roasted for my liking. Not a bad coffee, but probably would be better with as a lighter roast.
This is so dark. I may as well get starbucks. I'm disappointed because I put in my preferences earlier this month, but they weren't taken into account. Seriously, It says DARKEST ROAST on the bag. I wouldn't ever buy it on my own, and I wish there was a way to return it. This subscription is expensive. Is it possible to get a replacement bag or something?
