The Organic Guatemala Concepcion was carefully roasted for you by Kickapoo Coffee Roasters. Grown by Gregorio Carillo Gomez in the Huehuetenango region at 1500-2000 meters above sea level, this Fully Washed coffee is a perfect example of why we love coffees from Guatemala.
Really good! Great taste. Matched my pallet preferences.
It's drinkable but not strong enough. Need multiple cups.
Great flavor, nice citrus and light brown sugar. A wonderful coffee. I always seem to be pleased with Kickapoo beans.
Good but not as citrusy as I typically like
Excellent sweet, balanced, and graham crackery.
I liked the flavor and balance in the cup. I would like a little more mouthfeel though that may come through adjusting my brewing
Great coffee! Very well balanced; what I love about coffees in this region. Just enough acidity to balance those nutty/chocolate notes.
I never received this shipment. I can change/remove rating if you guys send it to my correct address.
Nice light roast of compact, small beans. The lemon flavor is nice and stays with you throughout the cup. While the flavor is clean and nice, it is simple and easy to drink. I preferred this using the wave brew method over pour over or AeroPress. I prefer something with a bit more complexity or depth in its range of flavor. However, this was a fun coffee to try.
This coffee was pretty good. I actually think it would have made an excellent pour over, but I made a batch of cold brew instead. My flavor preferences also tend to skew toward fruity/berry notes.
Earthy and rich, Lacked complexity and balanced degree of frutiness, compatible with the roast.
These beans make such a delicious coffee! Perfect.
Brilliant. Notes of freshly sawn exotic hardwood over cocoa in the bag and grinder; after brewing, these woody, structured elements remain under a bright but mild citrus clarity with caramel overtones. Fabulous, both in the Hario and the Chemex (why, yes, I DID brew two pots this morning...)
After a wave of sweetness, an astringent aftertaste takes over which is grassy or a lemon peel which I am not a big fan of but overall good coffee and well balanced.
Love the creamy flavor, and balance of acidity and body. It's got so much going for it!
