This coffee will be fresh roasted for you. We expect Tandem Coffee Roasters will roast and ship this coffee in 1-2 business days depending on their roasting schedule.
The Stoker Blend was blended and roasted for you by Tandem Coffee Roasters. The Stoker Blend is constantly changing components with fresh, seasonal coffees. It is currently comprised of coffees from Colombia and Peru. We love this coffee for its notes of dark chocolate, cherry and burnt honey and full bodied character.
Somewhat dark, smooth blend where the cherry notes really come through. Delicious.
Excellent coffee! Smooth, flavorful. Definitely will order again.
Really liked this blend!
Perfect cup, light but rich and full of flavor, and easy to dial in the grind.
loved it! would love this one again!
Good, just a little boring. Not a very dynamic flavor profile.
Great initial flavor. Tandem coffees seem to have a similar nuttiness in each blend whichI like. Tastes like a standard medium roast that could always make a great go-to when you're looking for something easy to drink.
Great cup of coffee!
Nice flavor but nothing special, very mild, lacks flavor depth, boldness or complexity
I wasn’t thrilled with this one. It has a bitter after taste which I was a bit surprised. I will try making it a different way to see if the taste changes at all.
Little bit on the weak side. For some reason found it hard to get the grind size right on my espresso machine throughout the bag.
A little dark and oily for my taste but certainly one which will please. I might try this one again.
Full bodied, had a nice rich chocolate caramel taste.
I am not usually a fan of chocolate but it was a nice full body. I wouldn't want anything with more chocolate taste than this.
Great cup of coffee. Full-bodied with great chocolate notes. Has been very consistent; great every-day cup.
This coffee was just okay.
One of my favorites. It’s mild and full bodied at the same time. Well rounded.
Real nice medium roast coffee. Sweet chocolate. Good Stuff.
Our favorite, thus far. Very interesting flavor and works well in our french press. Impressive stuff!
Overall a nice coffee.
The honey and chocolate definitely come through. It’s got body but without being clunky, but it seems a bit sweet.
Chocolatey and fruity, very fresh. This is a damn good coffee! Not bitter. Do like!!
A very good blend. The seasonal Ethiopian really comes through but the Colombian balances it out well. Makes a good chemex brew, I wouldn't want a roast to go any darker than this though.
Couldn't get a good shot from this. Just ok. Not bitter, but kind of boring.
The cherry is the clearest note in this one. Combined with the notes of burnt honey and dark chocolate, it starts sweet but finishes on the bitter side. Might not be a go-to, but it's good enough for a change of pace every now and then.
A bit bitter for my taste.
Smooth and delicious. I loved the medium roast.
Please keep more coffees like this coming! Loved this one.
As with all Tandem, Excellent. This one, however, not as much flavor. Same creamy, full bodied coffee, but just less complexity
Like the dark toasty flavors!
Tandem hits the mark on most of their coffees, quality roaster.
Please do not send anything like this coffee again. We did not like this. It was bright and more citrusy than we prefer. It didn't taste like coffee.
A bit acidic for my taste. I think I prefer the dry-processed coffees better than fully washed.
Loved the burnt honey taste. Perfect coffee
Very acidic, sour. Worst coffee I had so far.
This was a good blend, not as flavorful as I would have liked, but still very good no less.
We thought it had great flavor! Very easy to drink every morning.
One of the favorites so far. Awesome roast and flavors
Good stuff, seems in-between medium and dark-roast. Pretty clean with a nice body. I see how honey works in the description.
I thought this would be too light for me but it has great flavor.
I loved the chocolate notes in this!
Too bitter. Chocolate flavor really stood out. I think I would like to try a darker roast next time that is a little less sweet.
Tasted smoky. One of my least favorites thus far.
Definitely taste the chocolate and honey flavors, even more so when cold-brewed. This roast is great!
This was a great brew! I was so sad when it ran out!
Full bodied, very light acidity, chocolate
Tremendous ... great balance of bold without being bitter. We love it.
Delicious!! I really enjoyed the subtle chocolately flavor and the honey came through well too. Two thumbs up!
Good coffee but I prefer a bit more flavor
I liked this one better than the Method Blend. I didn't think was bitter or sour, but maybe a little bit of a burnt flavor. The beans were lighter than the ones I bought before joining this service.
I like the richness of this coffee and can taste the honey but it's a little more bitter than I like. Not much though. Still love the coffee. I like strong because I often drink it iced but not too bitter.
Well balanced, hints of chocolate, easy to dial in a great brew.
Very good coffee. No complaints about anything.
I enjoyed this coffee. The chocolate flavor really stood out.
I found the Stoker roast to be a full-bodied coffee in the AeroPress, but a little lacking in my morning daily flat white. Since my daily driver is an espresso drink with milk, it did not "cut" through the milk as a few others have.
As a coffee, however, it was nice.
Good cup of coffee.
Excellent, drinkable coffee! Not as bold or dark as it says in comparison with other dark coffees but that actually plays into its hands.
This is a rather bland coffee. Not bad but nothing all that good about it either.
Absolutley loved this one
Great taste loved it
This was a good coffee, not my favorite out of the picks but it was good. I didn't love the burnt honey flavor in the roast.
I quite like this one. Seems to have more a refined taste? It doesn't seem to have overpowering flavors like the previous blend. I think I prefer this kind of taste but I'm still not sure yet.
I really enjoyed this coffee. It's flavors weren't over the top, but still very present. I'd call it an intentional coffee without being 'invasive' or in-your-face. I think maybe there's some chocolately honey stuff going on here? Whatever it is I could go for some more of this type of coffee. The package says 'kinda dark' and I appreciated that. I wouldn't say it was very dark but I like to see how different roasters view their coffees. The Stoker blend didn't have any of those overtly tobacco or charcoaly bits hanging in there that I associate with darker roasts. Okay - so in terms of methods I brewed these as follows Kalita Wave 155 (1:16 ratio), Aeropress (19 grams and fill it up inverted - press around 1:50 for 40 seconds), and Chemex with a healthy 1:14 ratio. The Chemex was my favorite approach and I used both Spring water and Brita filtered water (don't judge - it worked out just fine). So again - this is the type of coffee I tend to orient myself and return to. It was really good and I look forward to more coffee along these lines. I'm also fine with berryish, dried fruit, undertones but not as much as the Chocolate nutty honey/toffee coffees. Thanks Samantha! You're already dialing it in so well. Much appreciated.
I felt the burnt honey was a little over powering and left the cup one dimensional. Ok as pour over, Meh as espresso.
Great tasting - I like strong coffee.
This coffee is growing on me. It's a little darker than I'm used to and the flavor doesn't linger as long as I'd like but I like the chocolate notes and sweet flavor.
-Was the Stoker Blend better or worse?
Was the coffee acidic or sour? Bitter?
A bit acidic at first, but that was just due to it coming close off of its roasting and my brewing technique with it at first. Now it is much better that I have been drinking it and tweaking my brewing recipe and such.
Burnt or roasty? Was the color of the bean lighter or darker than what you typically enjoy?
A bit burnt and darker than what I am used to/tend to favor.
If the last bag could be an actual single origin, or something that isn't a blend of coffees, that would be awesome. I am much more pleased with the Tandem Coffee Roasters bag of coffee this time around, though! Great find Mistobox team!
Delicious, smooth. Hints of dark coffee and slight sweetness.
Deep-flavored blend that was quite enjoyable. Surprisingly light on the finish, given the richness and mix of flavors.
Not something I would typically drink, but the burnt honey grew on me
A super solid medium-dark roast.
This coffee is a winner! Full bodied with no hidden undertones
Loved the full bodied flavor.
Lighter bean than I'm used to. Flavor was not very interesting or complex. Seemed a bit weak; felt like I had to use much more than normal to get a full bodied cup. I did like that it was smooth and not bitter.

We loved this coffee! Just strong enough to get us moving and the flavor was awesome. The chocolate notes were definitely noticeable and complimented the other flavors perfectly without being overwhelming. So delicious! It smelled amazing and I found myself really looking forward to my morning cup :) Definitely one of our favorites!
This is my favorite coffee so far! Such a flavorful, exciting cup of coffee. All of the different tasting note come through so beautifully clear. I'm savoring each sip!
Didn't care for this coffee. I found it bitter and acidic.
Not my favorite, Though wonderful flavors do linger.
Smooth and well-balanced
The "burned honey" flavor really came through and it grew on me more every morning. A solid cup of coffee.
found this more bitter and less flavorful than the last coffee
did not like this one. Taste was lack luster and mediocre. Loved the others.
This was great! Really well balanced cup with good flavor for depth. What a great pick Samantha- this was just right!
This roast is oh so pleasant. Great mix of flavors and smells, all working together to form a beautiful symphony. But seriously, this is cup is very alive and bright!
This coffee tasted a bit over-roasted, and I didn't care for the undertones.
So good! I enjoyed it very much but found that it was quite touchy in regards to brew methods and time. Also as a fan of New England it was nice to see a roaster from "up north" :)
