I did not love this coffee. It is a very dark roast, which is not what I expect from an Ethiopian coffee.
This coffee is absolutely perfect! The flavor profile and acidity are exactly what I’m looking for.
Coffee had little to no flavor
This is a magnificent cup of coffee. It's fruity and herbal and also has a punchy body and aroma. One of the best cups of coffee I've ever had! Made with a pour over and also an AeroPress. Both ways produce an exceptional cup.
Great in cold brew and pour over. Darker profile than we typically drink, but both enjoyed
Richer tones. Love it
After a few week break. Had a cup. Really
enjoyed it . Light but complex. Smooth. Did not feel the juicy fruit note were too strong. Will definitely purchase again. Highly recommend it.
As advertised. Light, juicy, and floral. Nothing overwhelming - just right.
Just could not get a great cup out of this regardless of any temperature, water flow, or grind adjustments. Maybe I expected too much coming from my last 2 fantastic roasts. Will not be coming back to this one :/
Pretty good! Not wonderful, but enjoyable. Acidity was there, complexity not as much but I’m just being ultra picky. Good cup!
Good not great
Just generally ok, but tasted a bit flat
A little too acidic up front for me. Also at had a bit of a pineapple note up Fremont.
Average. Had some highlights but lost its oomph halfway into the bag.
Not sure why but my husband did not love the flavor.
This is a nice departure from the usual chocolatey roasts I receive. I think my preference in flavor profile leans slightly towards chocolatey roasts with detectable fruity notes, but this one hits the spot just as well in a different way. For me, it's difficult to pick out the individual flavors that are listed, but the combination is refreshing and enjoyable on a consistent basis. [Note: my girlfriend tasted chocolate notes on the first brew, and she is usually spot on with picking out flavor notes even before seeing the bag. Only time she was acutely incorrect so far]
One of my favorites so far. I don’t know about jasmine, but I definitely can taste blackberry. I really enjoyed this coffee.
Liked the flavors here.
Case and Marcia
Pretty good. Mellow coffee
I love this coffee! It is definitely fruity and bright, but has a smooth finish. I taste blackberry notes for sure. It does have a a bit of lingering acidity, but otherwise it’s amazing.
Not keen of "fruity" coffees.
This was not my favorite. While this was drinkable it had too much of a floral flavor.. Maybe more bitter than the others.
Fruit + structure = delicious
A little more bitter than i expected, but undeniably rich and delicious.
Very Ethiopian in flavor. Juicy too.
The berry tastes came through amazingly well. This is a very interesting coffee.
It was good
Did not enjoy. Please don't send again.
Good, but a bit bold for my liking.
Was expecting a bit more from the flavor profile of berries/herbal notes but it was still a really balanced and nice cup. Might be different with another brewing method (used a drip)
This coffee is spectacular. This level of roast and nuance is what I like. T
This has been my favorite coffee received on mistobox so far. I was actually able to pick up on the berry notes as described on the package, my coffee senses are imrpoving!
This was a dark roast and not really my cup of tea
Great Chemex brew today, will try drip tomorrow
I thought it was less juicy and more chocolatey.
Tangy, very interesting flavor and good buzz
A more subdued natural Ethiopian coffee than I anticipated. Complex floral and herbaceous notes dominated up front, leading into a subtle fruity sweetness, almost melon-like, to balance the cup. The berry notes were lacking for me. Overall enjoyable but not that classic natural Ethiopian fruit-forward cup.
