Ashley
I really disliked this one. I just don't think I like Ethiopian coffee. I don't like the berry flavors in them.

David
Very very good, best in a long time.
4/22/2024

Dee Ann
Just OK. Seemed too sour no matter what grind size I used.
4/12/2024

Heidi
4/5 in complexity. Sweet and a pleasure to drink. Works seems to have extra notes in general. The cherry was noticeable, which I enjoyed.
4/7/2024

Brett
Loved the fruity-ness!!
4/3/2024

Kevin
fantastic and complex!

Love, love, love!

David
Whoa this was good, for a light/acidic addict it might be the best coffee I have had.

This roaster is so good.
3/25/2024

Torre
Our blend was cherry + cran-rasperry, bright in flavor. Good cup of Ethiopian!

Geoff
Not quite effortless, but you will be rewarded when you pay attention to the grind and water temp. We have prepared this using a Chemex, V60, and a Technivorm. The best cup came from the Chemex, but all were tasty. If you enjoy fruit forward coffees and don’t mind futzing with the variables, this could be an enjoyable coffee. For us it was a weekend choice, when I could take the time for it. Of notes, this is the second I’ve had this - roughly 12 months apart.

Austin
Favorite coffee so far, really taste the blueberries
3/8/2024

Richard
This is one of the most intensely flavorful coffees i have ever had. Kinda tastes like olives
3/7/2024

Adam
Absolutely one of the best coffees I've gotten so far. Really stands out and matches the description.
3/1/2024

Kent
Very nice fruit undertones

Elias
Big fan of this coffee. They aren't kidding about tasting like "That Strawberry Candy in the Red and Green Foil Wrapper". Very fruit forward but not too heavy, super vibrant and juicy. Unique flavors from the anaerobic processing. I usually prefer more delicate flavors but I really liked this one. Memorable coffee for sure.

Cory
Amazing flavor and espresso shot
2/17/2024

Leah
Smells amazing but I didn't find a way to brew it to match in flavor. Very sour.
2/15/2024

William
This is my favorite coffee to date!
2/15/2024

justin
Anaerobic coffees are always interesting.
2/5/2024

Josh
Jammy and fruity. Almost no bitterness. Has a delicate mouthfeel with pleasant acidity. I really enjoyed it. I brewed it at 17:1 but I’m gonna try it at 16:1 next time to bring out more acidity.
2/3/2024

Jasmany
Amazing tasting notes. Berry jam aroma with mixed berry and ripe cherry notes. Light tea like body considering that I brewed most of my cups at a 1/17 ratio. Silky mouth feel with hits of sweetness on the lateral walls of my tongue. Highly recommend!!!

Isaiah
So good, fruity!
1/24/2024

Andre
Really enjoyed it iced or aeropress. Definitely liked the juiceness as a departure from my usual daily bean
1/20/2024

Joel
Very juicy and almost overwhelming berry notes. I tried it on espresso and my wife dis not like it and it is not a good combination with milk. After the coffee was cold I could taste the delicacy of the coffee. Really good coffee but not my favorite.
1/16/2024

Daniel
Very pleasant coffee for drip - flavor just as described. Really enjoyed it!
1/9/2024

Travis
So fruity and full of flavors.
1/6/2024

Jerry
Best bag of coffee I have had all year.
1/3/2024

Julian
Robust, fruity flavor. Buy again.
12/16/2023

Kenneth
All flavor notes on first brew at 199 degrees with v60 (Kazuya method). Great cup.
12/5/2023

Angela
Very fruity (berries) and juicy! The aroma, the flavor: all delicious. I generally LOVE Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffees for this very reason and this bag did not disappoint. I mainly brewed using James Hoffmann's v60 method. I also tried his "espresso" method using an Aeropress and it was juicy deliciousness. Brandywine, keep doing the good work of the Coffee gods/spirits/mystics. lol. Keep those fruity, juicy light roasted coffees coming my way!

Stuart
Loved this coffee. Love an African coffee with fruit and berry elements
11/26/2023

David
Best coffee we have had
11/17/2023

Wren
Bright, strawberries, very tangy
11/3/2023

Zach
Really tasty coffee that is more in line with the Ethiopian kind I prefer. Nice subtle fruit
10/28/2023

Daniel
Some of the worst tasting and off putting coffee I've had from Mistobox. The coffee had all the wrong kinds of funk and I thought it was completely undrinkable.
10/20/2023

Shravan
I recently discovered the super special coffee beans from Ethiopia's Yirgacheffe region. Since then I've ben hunting for coffee from there, especially the ones processed naturally. (I tried several washed ones and they strip down the unique fruity flavor of the cherries which is very disappointing).

Brandywine's anaerobic process retains all of the brilliant cherry flavors! I cannot recommend it enough. I have a Breville Bambino plus and I uses these beans for espresso shots. Whether I make cappuccino or americano, the berry flavor shines through!

If you like specialty coffee where you can properly taste berries, this is the one for you.
10/10/2023

Blaine
Overall, I liked the coffee and its fruity notes. It was good, but I was expecting things a bit brighter. Definitely a solid cup I enjoyed.
10/5/2023

Aaron
Extremely fruit forward, almost like a hard candy. A very unique flavor, although it could be a bit too much to drink all the time.
9/25/2023

Anna
Some of the best coffee I have had in a very long time
9/20/2023

Janina
HELLA fruity. Tastes like berry.
9/19/2023

Joseph
Super fruity and berry flavored.
9/16/2023

Dustin
Really strong notes of cherries. A fine coffee reminding me of what Ethiopian coffees should be like.
9/11/2023

Derek
Tasted moldy, rotten, and had a pretty strong taste of heated plastic. I wish I got what you guys got but i'm not ordering from this roaster again. Too many inconsistent offerings. Surprised you can mess up an Ethiopian.
9/8/2023

Andrei
This coffee tasted like a fruity natural but had overwhelming mold flavor and old fermented fruit overtones that made it undrinkable.
9/8/2023

Derek
Love the complex, fruity flavor here. Brewed with a pour over using 20g of beans per 320ml of water, and it's come out consistently great with every cup.
9/8/2023

Sam
I haven't had a coffee that has made me so excited about drinking coffee in a long time. This is like drinking a berry pie.
8/30/2023

William
Outstanding, strawberry jam
8/30/2023

John
There is almost an artificial taste like old candy
8/29/2023

Laurence
once of the most unusual and best coffees ive had in a long time. More of this type of thing please
8/27/2023

Tim
Amazingly fruity. More of this please.
8/24/2023

Brandon
Fruity and bright. Good fresh and hot and stays interesting as it cools. I love anaerobic process coffee.
8/20/2023

David
I can drink this, but I would not choose to. It sounds like it has all the features of a coffee I would love, so I can only imagine that the "anaerobic" portion of the process is what is ruining it for me.
