This is Leticia Lopez's Honey Process brought to you by Alma Coffee. This Black Honey processed coffee was sourced from the growing region of Copan in Honduras and was produced by Leticia Lopez Hutchins at 1,400 meters above sea level.
A fine coffee, but I think this overall flavor profile has been done better by other roasters. Not all that memorable.
Too tart for me
This was really fantastic. Was really good with a 25 gram aeropress.
Definitely different in a good way. Flavor description is accurate; would be a good coffee for lovers of tea flavors, which for me is what keeps it from 5 stars. I still wanted to try it (knowing I'm not a tea person), and this is one of the most unique coffees I've had, even within the honey processing options!
Bitter and tasted stale
Bright, fruity, and juicy. Exactly what I wanted!
This was my wife’s favorite coffee
One of my go-to coffee’s from a wonderful roaster!
Great complexity. Bright floral and acidic notes come through wonderfully.
This is a great cup of coffee. I like the honey process. It's the first I've tried it and really enojyed it. I'd like to be able to compare -- if possible -- the same coffee bean from the same farrm but processed 3 ways: washed, natural, and honey. It'd be interesting to me to taste the nuances involved and if the dry might be sweet(er) than the honey because of the sugars. Anyhow, this was a complex cup and of all the beans I have right now from different roasters, I'm coming back to this one ... it has a good "soul" indeed...
Super smooth in an aeropress, can't wait to put it in a Chemex. Tastes sweet, virtual no bitter. A bit floral, but the sweetness makes me think fruit. Damn good coffee. I'm going to OD on caffeine cause I can't quit brewing it.
I liked this fruitiness, but it was a little too acidic to be an everyday-drinker. It’s good for a cup every now and then.
Bright and fruity
Lovely light roast. Complex but not overpowering.
Really nice coffee. Loved the aroma.
So delicious and balanced!
Seems quite flavorful, different.. .debating if I like it or not
easily one of my favorite coffees i have ever tasted
Loved how complex and tea like the coffee tasted, very funky
Perfection. Balanced yet complex due to the honey process. Perfect for pour over. Flavor profile is unique and becomes sweeter as is cool. Only drawback for me is it's a little on the light side. Let's see if the curator is a real thing... ;)
This coffee was really wonderful. Complex black tea tannins and a bright acidity made this a perfect pour over. I liked this coffee so much I will likely order more from them.
Grape and plum flavors. Tiny bit of green wood. Light and mellow.
Great plum and grape flavor!
Not a fan
I found this coffee to be too light and fruity. I wanted to pick something outside my comfort zone so I’m glad I tried it but would never drink it again.
Light, little too fruity but good with French press
Don't usually rate coffees like you ask cause I'm lazy but my first sip elicited an audible "oh snap, that's good" I didn't actually say "snap".
Awesome coffee! Fruity, flavorful. Interesting while still being easy to drink.
