Coffee Story
Description
The Mexico Cristal was carefully roasted for you by Quills Coffee. This Fully Washed coffee was grown between 900 and 1,700 meters above sea level by various smallholder farmers in Mexico. It makes for a comforting drip coffee and even more enjoyable single-origin espresso. We taste: raisin, candied almond, creamy nougat, and dark chocolate.

I would describe this coffee as the standard "black" cup of coffee. Good coffee that isn't bitter but lacks any nuance. I would prefer coffee with some more depth and interesting notes.

Very nice! Had a level of acidity that really hit the perfect balance for us. Not too tart, but enough to keep it interesting.

Brewed in a Jura z10. Kinda boring brewed as coffee. Made for a nice espresso

Another competent but boring espresso. Fairly bog standard coffee with nothing to make it stand out. No offensive flavors, but also nothing exciting.

I liked this one. It's on the darker side of medium, but has a nice taste, especially for cappuccinos and lattes. You can definitely taste the dark chocolate.
