Description
The Papua New Guinea Baroida Estate Processing Blend was carefully roasted for you by Goshen Coffee Company. The Baroida Estate grows coffee between 1,700 and 1,850 meters above sea level in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea. Ben and Nicolas Colbran process their coffee in a number of different ways and Goshen combines three of the results in this unique single-origin/estate processing blend. Anaerobic Washed, Yellow Honey, and Natural methods combine and give way to vibrant bing cherry, tropical fruit, and citrus fruit qualities.

amazing fragrance! definitely tasted the banana notes & subtle nutty undertones. brewed in my technivorm moccamaster. highly recommend!

Low density beans not great for espresso.

It was difficult for me to dial in for espresso, but pretty forgiving for pour over. Once the cup cooled down, I could taste bananas with some acidity and dark sweetness. This is my first honey processed coffee and would recommend it for someone curious.
Finally was able to really dial in a shot and was amazed at the undertones in the cup. Not much acidity. Tasted some caramelized stone fruit.

Delicious, fun, made my day great! I highly recommend this to anyone but yes, the Banana hits pretty hard and the complex notes are so true. The week I had with this coffee was incredible, and many times a smells that blew my mind. I did a pour over, 205f water, 30g to 500g, more fine on the medium/fine setting and its perfect!

Was not confident I'd like this, but it was excellent! Banana + vanilla comes through, but the drink is very complex. This is definitely a very unique taste. Brewing as espresso. I should note this is definitely light, my grinder barely covers the needed setting.

Interesting blend of coffee. Ripe banana and pistachio on the nose. Banana liqueur hits you on the mouth with pineapple and a hint of fermentation. Medium body, and complex with high acidity and brightness. Personally, a fuller body and more clarity would add the extra star. Could be the result of three different blends of processes or maybe I haven't dialed in everything perfectly yet. I would've really appreciated the ratio of each processes though. Is it 1:1:1? or is it more heavily natural? Also, what fruit is used for anaerobic? More information for such an interesting blend of coffee would make drinking it even more fun.

Tasting notes on the bag included bananas foster, and that really came through strong. This was probably my favorite PNG yet. Smooth, super sweet, roasted super light...made for a great bag. Very nice!
