This is the Play Nice Blend brought to you by Methodical Coffee. Play Nice combines coffees from Colombia and Ethiopia creating a vibrant and syrupy cup with flavors that remind us of chocolate, brown sugar, and berries.
Nice flavor accents, but the roast/body was too light.
Earth tones came out with oatmilk
Brown sugar is a good descriptor for the roundness this coffee is able to provide alongside the juiciness I love from Ethiopian coffees. Aeropress @ 97C
This was the best coffee I've had from Mistro Box. Very floral bouquet, no bitterness or acidity.
not a fan of the fruitiness
I didn't think myself fond of fruity coffee but this was really good. like a traditional dark roast but with a blueberry finish, and not so citrus.
i liked it as filter and espresso, though espresso was finicky to dial in
Not my favorite. A slight over roasted note.
definitely taste the brown sugar the strongest, doesn't have any kind of "sour" taste some of the others have had
I liked this one a lot. Very nice flavor. I didn't get too much berry flavor but it had a nice juicy mouthfeel.
Really nice balanced brew! Good back end fruit taste and acidity level. I’m not the only coffee drinker in my house so this one has something for everyone.
This was just pretty darn good.
I loved this coffee. The mouthfeel was great and I love syrupy berry coffees for spring. The only negative with this coffee was it was more acidic than I typically prefer.
really good flavors, nicely fruity
A little acidic, but nice notes.
Great flavor, super smooth! Can taste the berry notes.
This coffee is perfect
Nice coffee. Would order again. Tasting notes are as described.
Subtle but flavourful. Not too bold but had pleasant taste
This coffee is so good!! This is the first time I wanted to order a coffee for a second time because it was so good. The chocolate notes are very strong and it is a sweet coffee but very smooth. Will definitely keep this in my rotation!
Previously a dark roast purist, I have become a newly converted light roast-lover thanks to my MistoBox subscription. This coffee demonstrates a lot of the great things about light roasts. This is a complex cup, with a syrupy, blueberry sweetness. The fruity notes pulled through wonderfully as a French press, but this coffee held its own as a drip, too, Really a nice, well rounded blend.
This one’s good! A little darker tasting than I was expecting — like darker berries and brown sugar. Not quite as bright as I prefer.
Pretty muddy and unremarkable. Don't taste the Ethiopian flavors at all.
Would give 4.5 stars if possible. The chocolate notes really shine through
Brewed better on kalita pour over with a lower ratio around 1:14.5/15 but overall very good.
