The Pompadour Espresso Blend is certified Organic and was carefully roasted for you by Noble Coffee Roasting. This is a refined blend of washed coffees from Ethiopia, Peru and Gutemala. Pompadour is best appreciated black or with just a touch of milk, and is fantastic as straight espresso, in a cappuccino, or brewed as drip coffee. This coffee is balanced with notes of chocolate, citrus, black tea and a jasmine floral aroma.
The beans looked great like SightGlass almost, but the flavor just wasn't what I wanted in a coffee. Tastes like someone mixed tea with coffee, bad aftertaste. Too much jasmine/floral flavor.
Loved it. Great balance and clean finish.
Bright fruity notes that will wake you up in the morning. Lots of berry flavors in a latte. I enjoyed it but it did lack in cream making lattes more challenging to pour.
Soft mellow cup.
Great espresso and pulled a perfect shot. Has a slightly hint of fruit and high acidity, but is super smooth. Perfect if you like a lighter but flavorful espresso.
Very mild (very good!). Not a lot of unique taste to it, but makes a great cappuccino. I liked it a lot, but would also like to get some coffees with some unique berry/chocolate or nutty flavors to them occasionally
Favorite Espresso to date. I dialed it in really easily and the shots were fantastic.
This coffee had a really blunt taste. We could not get any flavor out of it and it seemed very watery.
UPDATE: Once I went nearly as fine as we could go on the grind, this one grew on me. It still seemed too subdued in a flat white and perhaps even in a cortado; but the shot was certainly good alone. We tend to make more cortados and flat whites, however. I'm more like a 3.5 here.
Surprised we didn't love this.. I think the bergamot throws it off? I think we prefer more citrus and floral vs citrus and bergamot - it just ended up like a sour-ish light tea taste, and definitely doesn't hold to any milk at all - and we do macchiato / cortado style.. Strange..
Very tasty, prefer a bit lighter of a roast to taste more citrus notes
I don't think they could put more of my favorite tasting notes and flavors in one cup. You had me at bergamot.
Did not really like this one. Super thin, and mild flavor
I've been drinking this espresso for the past 3 days. It was difficult nailing it just right. I kept blaming my pour and just not getting it right. By the third day, this espresso just falls flat. It's not bad, but nothing stood out. I sense the black tea as described above. Some sweetness, but perhaps drinking straight would be best and the flavors would stand out more. With an added 4 oz. of steamed milk, the flavor gets buried. I may switch to a macchiato to finish the rest of the bag.
Pulled consistent shots with these beans.
Really nice overall blend - a little light for my taste, but very good overall
I like the chocolate notes, but the tea and jasmine came across really strong. Very floral. Not my favorite.
tasty, especially as cappucino
Good. A little bit bright for my personal taste.
The sharp acidity level of Pompadour Organic Espresso Blend along with the citrus are exactly what I want in my coffee. This is my favourite coffee so far.
Aromas are beautiful but I don't get all the same notes from the cup
I thought this blend was a little bitter tasting, I would prefer something a little smoother with notes of caramel.
Loved the earthiness of this coffee
Wasn't sure on this one. Perhaps just a bit too much. But, just saw tasting notes about just a touch of milk. That may be what I"m missing
Best coffee from Miso Box so far! We actually looked up where we could buy this one locally and online.
Absolutely perfect balance of flavors without sacrificing any intensity
Absolute perfect balance of flavored without sacrificing any intensity
Wonderful chocolate, nut and tea flavors. A little lighter than most for espresso and a nice change.
liked this one
A little bitter on the finish - moreso than we usually would go for - but still a great coffee
