The Decaf Bona Fide was roasted for you by Goshen Coffee Company. This Colombian coffee was Fully Washed before being decaffeinated using the Ethyl Acetate Sugarcane method. In the cup, we taste a smooth, rich decaf with notes of intense chocolate, perfect on it's own or with a little bit of cream.
Didn't love it. Not bold enough and somewhat acidic
I'd rather drink gas station coffee. This coffee is super acidic and harsh. I have tried it as drip coffee and in the moka pot and it's terrible both ways. Whenever I pour oat milk into this coffee, the oat milk splits. I thought that maybe my milk was bad, but I tried my milk in tea and another coffee drink and had no issues. I've never seen that happen before. Probably won't even finish this bag of coffee.
love the lighter roast
Using a pour over method it is a smooth drinking decaf when using a coarser grind. I tried a more fine grind which brought out some bitterness that I didn't care for so I moved back to the original grind with water temp of 190 degrees.
I thought this was rather bitter
A little to 'dark' tasting.
Intriguing introduction with hints of delicious, followed by rich, syrupy splendid and identifiable notes of spectacular and glorious. The finish suggests addiction.
My experience was very different from other reviews... this was the best tasting and smoothest decaf I’ve had in ages! Will definitely reorder. It worked well with drip and aeropress but really shined in pourovers.
Not good at all. The coffee grinded with lots of fine particulates, which clogged the filter on the V60. Aeropress not good, which is a pretty low bar for making a delicious cup. There were too many acidic notes, definitely not smooth.
Great pour over coffee, really nice flavor.
I don’t know if I’d go so far as to say “bad” but I didn’t enjoy it. It wasn’t easy/smooth to drink. I can’t explain it exactly but it wasn’t great.
We were sent Decaf...which we would never use. Bummer. Money down the drain,
