The Decaf Ethiopian Sidama Organic was roasted for you by Noble Coffee Roasting. This decaf coffee from the Sidama region of Ethiopia and was produced by the SCFCU at 1,800 meters and was naturally processed before being decaffeinated using the chemical-free Mountain Water decaffeination method. The cup has a fruity quality that reminds us of dried apricots with notes of almond, nougat, milk chocolate, nutmeg and cinnamon.
This is one of those decaf coffees that makes you forget you're missing anything. Great bright flavors (without going acidic) with a richness that can be lacking in decaf. One of the best I've had.
First decaf I've tried with my V60/lido 3 and I just can't get this to taste anything like 'decent' coffee... Chokes flow significantly and despite about 9 attempts to date I can't get balanced extraction. Just tastes a bit burnt. I'll keep at it!
