Bright coffee, Orange, bit of sweetness, very easy drinking
Brewing as espresso. Solid taste, but very very subtle flavors. The fruit does come through, but it is super light.
Delicious. I looked forward to this cup daily. I actually purchased this in store, not via mistobox. I mainly brewed this via V60 and was able to produce very fruity/citrusy cups each time. As it cooled, it did lose nuance, but at that perfect drinking temp, it was delicious. I tried it once on the Chemex but I don't think I dialed it in right as it lost its nuance..still messing with ratios. I usually love a good chemex-brewed coffee as it really brings out fruit flavors of light roast coffees. I'll work on it. I definitely recommend this bean.
Pretty average in terms of single origin roasts I've gotten from Mistobox, which is to say 'good'. Not too memorable, but definitely a coffee that I was excited to drink every morning.
Subtle, but very pleasant flavors
I loved this coffee, and I am picky. Chemex - med. fine grounds. Coffe has a nice acidity to it, lots of flavor, from citrus to earth type funk (baking perhaps) I found this in my wheel house, coffee needs to stay hot/warm as it lost some unique flavor when cold. I am a fan of Cartel Coffee Lab now. The roast was perfect!
A bit too subtle and delicate of a cup for my preference. There are nice undertones of cinnamon and baking spices, but I struggled to find much citrus.
Not impressed. Little to no nuance in either espresso or v60.
