This is the Ethiopia Guji Kercha brought to you by Mela Coffee Roasting Company. This Natural Processed coffee was sourced from the growing region of Guji in Ethiopia 1,900 - 2,100 meters above sea level and was produced by the Guracho Washing Station.
Smells a nice malty, blueberry aroma. Tastes like sweet berry, and the acidity of the red grape emerges as it cools. Clean, silky body, and the malt sweetness is a nice balance.
This was a wonderful coffee and I thoroughly am enjoying the blueberry notes along with the smoothness.
Good, but don't need again.
Had a slight sour note that would come out in a Chemex and the flavor was a little light for our liking. Best results were in a French Press, where it had a richer flavor. It did good in espresso drinks.
Weaker for my caffeine prefs but good flavor. a little less full bodied than i would have liked
This one had the most distinctive fruity taste but also a smooth and well-balanced flavor. The sourness seems to blend in instead of sticking out like a sore thumb in the after-taste. Definitely one to try if you are a fan of light-medium to medium roasts.
Brewing method: Pour-over with cloth filter and OXO burr grinder set at medium grind.
Great coffee. Well balanced, bright and fruity. I usually stay away from lighter roasts, but this one was full of flavor.
Omg this was so fruity, bright and delicious. I keep saying "this is my new favorite," but actually this one is pretty boss. Great in Aeropress and Chemex
Great! Really nice fruity notes, one of my favorites
Really great flavor. Had a nice curry fruity taste that was calmed by the almost caramel taste. We used a Chemex and a French Press both turned out fantastic.
This was really good but I wanted there to be stronger hints from the fruits.
I loved the fruit notes and look forward to trying more natural processed beans.
A little to acidic/bright for my liking. Would be a great afternoon coffee but a little too agressively acidic for the mornings; however it does habe a lot when brewed with an aeopress.
Wow. Amazing. Love the blueberry smell and flavor.
Prepared with V60 this coffee is smooth and easy to drink. Red grape comes out nicely once this brew has cooled a bit. A good light roast that is pleasant on the palate. This coffee is right up my alley
It was bright and lively. I liked the crisp taste. Went great when brewed on our Breville coffee maker. Would love this bag again
Brewed with cleverdripper. Don't over extract it as it can get bitter. Overall a really nice cup though I disagree with Misto labeling it a light brew. It should be more towards medium scale.
This was a mixed bag. I thought the coffee was very good with slightly sweet and sour notes (like fruit). My wife though thought it made her cream taste curdled. She found it exceptionally sour. While I did not have the same reaction, since we both partake this won't be on the list again.
A little bland, had a hard time pulling out any fruit notes when brewing.
I didn't quite get the fruity notes, but this was my first time in years doing pour over. The flavor was present but gentle.
Really enjoyed the fruity notes in this! It was the first Ethiopian I’ve tried.
This is true a very flavorful and fruity tasting coffee. One of my favorites so far.
favorite so far!
Fantastic coffee, a real treat to enjoy. Blueberry notes amidst brightness.
WTF! How can coffee be this good?! Best coffee I’ve ever had in my damn life. I can die in peace now.
Good cup but not enough blueberry to be true to the origin
Best coffee I’ve had so far. It’s so fruity and sweet and it smells sooooooo good. Like coffee candy with fruit.
This one is nice, very fruity!
Excellent! Bright and complex, great acidity, really lively
Very good, nice floral notes
Definitely didn't enjoy this one, although I was trying something new.
Overall ok but sometimes a little too bitter. I found I enjoyed it most as espresso or using a French press
This one was wonderful!
One of my favorites
Bright and fruity but weak body
Very good coffee, nearly a 5 star. Love the fruity flavors and the brighter feeling of this coffee.
Fan of this one. Wasn't too bold, very nice complex flavor.
Very mellow, slightly weak. Not too fruity or acidic with a touch of bitterness. Slight taste of wood and bramble with a hint of wild berry. Good solid breakfast coffee but not enough character to stand out.
Very juicy with blueberry/berry notes. Not as much tea-like sense of flavor as some others I've tried (this is more of a light coffee). Very good.
Absolutely loved this coffee. So bright and flavorful.
One of my favorites! I don’t normally like grape tones... but this was great!
Extreme blueberry notes and a syrupy finish. Decent body. This coffee is good, but the strong blueberry flavor makes it almost a novelty and not something I would necessarily want to drink every morning.
Very well balance , fruity with blueberry chocolate Im getting from this cup.
Only concern is their bag needs an air vent and zip block.
Light, fruity, and delicious.
This was good, not great. Blueberry notes very subtle. For the region, I definitely prefer the Ascension Ardi.
Not bad at all! I was hopeful for a stronger blueberry note, but I think it was more subtle than I had hoped. The coffee was really great though. Great roast level and good profile.
Solid coffee. Has a nice, fruity aroma. Flavor is tastes more like red grades than berries, though there is a slight taste of blueberries. Coffee is not particular complex so no interesting after flavors
Very good for a full natural process, fruity but not a fruit bomb, much more mellow.
Incredible! This is by far the best coffee I've had on this subscription. The blueberry shines thru extremely well even on a simple Kalita wave pour over.
Love Ethiopian coffee and anything fruity.
Strong berry notes on the nose. Hints of blueberries and strawberries on the finish.
Amazing. Every sip I'd delicious with rich berry flavor
Strong notes of blueberry in cold brew
Also loved this coffee. Definitely a close second to the previous Columbia coffee (I probably would give a 4.5 star rating if I could).
Not sure why I liked this Ethiopia more than others, but
Love it. The flavors are vibrant, not muted like past coffees. Please send more like this.
