The Ethiopia Shakiso was carefully roasted for you by Topeca Coffee Roasters. Grown by the Kayon Mountain Farm in the Shakiso, East Guji region at 1900-2200 meters, this Full Natural coffee is a perfect example of why we love coffees from Ethiopia. Kayon Mountain Farm is a single farm estate owned and operated by a single proprietor. This proprietor is Ismael Hassen Aredo, who along with his family, has been running the organic certified farm since 2012.

Roast was uneven -- some cups were amazing and others, prepared identically, tasted really burnt

The package I received has totally different tasting notes from what’s shown in the app - Red currant, clementine, earl grey.
Seems to be Roasted closer to a medium light than light medium.

Great notes of red fruits at first taste could be a bit too roasted and then balance very well with the sweetness.

Really a medium roast. Little too dark for me.

This coffee smelled like it was roasted a long time ago or has some non-Arabica beans. Was not good. First time I’ve received coffee like this from mistobox

At first, I didn't care for the blueberry notes but I have grown to like it as they are subtle. It was something different but I probably would not choose it again.
