Pretty good. Maybe too simple and straightforward... ; )
Love Temple coffee
My favorite so far from Mistobox! I got the caramel taste, very smooth and balanced. I tend to dislike more fruity espressos – this had a touch of that but was well balanced with the cocoa flavors.
Meh is the best way to describe it. Didn’t feel there was anything special about these beans.
Another popular one among the group.
I appreciated this roast as it had a well rounded flavor.
Overall not a "bad" coffee brew. Flavor notes are pretty heavy on the caramel taste. We did find that when grinded with our burr grinder, it is very "flaky", and we also needed to use 15-20g more in our french press than usual in order for it to not be extremely weak.
I really liked this one
I did not like this coffee at all. It was bitter and overbearing. Please DO NOT send me anything other coffee from this roaster.
Delicious! Smooth, with a lovely aroma and beautiful, warming flavor.
Excellent choice! Not too bitter, full bodied, love the hints of cocoa and caramel!
Nice as espresso and stovetop moka style
Terrific dark roast. Rich, chocolaty, and sweet. Minimal bitterness and burnt flavors.
A little fruity for us and more of a medium-dark roast, but still good coffee
Liked it. No complaints!
Very good, though dark
Coffee was just ok not alot of flavor. It didnt have that rich dark taste in other coffees I like.
I would like more flavor. It was okay but nothing special.
Terrible! Tasteless and bitter when brewed as pour over with medium-fine grind. Used 26grams coffee to 340 grams water.
brewed pour over with medium fine grind. Found the coffee to be tasteless and bitter. Terrible!!!
Excellent espresso. Grind 4.2
OK but not particularly memorable. Seemed much lighter than a "medium dark".
Balanced body, aroma, and acidity well. Highly recommend!
This coffee was full of flavor, rich, and creamy. I added just a hint of brown sugar and a dash of cream. There wasn't any bitter taste/after taste.
Couldn't overcome the dark notes in this one. Great in milk drinks, but a little too strong as a straight shot.
8.5/10 Smooth with light bitter ending. Very good flavor
I like this one. I seem to like the chocolate, caramel notes more than the citrus, fruity notes. This was good. I would get again.
Dark but smooth taste.
Love this. Temple is definitely my favorite roaster by far.
Nice full flavor.
I liked it - a little darker than I would usually get. But delicious
Looking for a darker, richer bean with less acidity
Nuanced flavors that we liked
Tasted side by side as an espresso along with my 2nd shipment (Zoka Hidden City Blend). The Temple Riqueza is just fine as a coffee with cream or as a latte, but it tastes almost sour as an espresso. I will not drink this as an espresso in the future, and I would not order this again.
great flavor and notes on this coffee so far my favorite.
Loved the cocoa/carmel notes
Not good for large milk drinks, but good flavor overall
Smooth, chocolate…just strong enough to taste like French toast. It not overpowering. Order again for sure
Not rich or dark enough for me. It was a nice flavor and the aroma was delightful.
good, roasted flavors. very smooth and easy to drink. not overly bitter or burnt tasting.
Too dark for my taste. Good flavor, though
Average to me
Way too light of a roast.
I did not detect the cocoa. I think I detected the spices and did not like them. Just me. The coffee also tasted slightly bitter. This is not the coffee for me.
Honestly probably my favorite coffee I've ever had
Really good coffee! Both of us liked it a lot. It was not very complex, but was well balanced, had a great texture, and aroma! All around good coffee!
It was good for espresso not for drip coffee however quite strong flavor
First couple cups really good
Actually... Not as bad as I originally thought...
Very bright and citrusy
Good coffee. Very mild and smooth. No specific notes stand out but overall I've enjoyed this coffee.
Okay coffee. Nothing really stood out and could not really taste a lot of the flavor profile.
Loved this one!
Not in my wheelhouse. It's a bit too "earthy" for me, as in dirty-tasting. Some may find that a good quality; for me it is not great.
Very smooth and flavorful blend. Not a hint of bitterness, no matter how strong the brew. Definitely a winner.
Deep, rich flavor - chocolate is on point! This will likely be a staple to my coffee preferences
So far, I've brewed this coffee using pour-over and French Press and both methods have rendered exceptional flavor.
So rich and full bodied. “In a weird way it was like drinking hot chocolate”
Big fan of this coffee.
This was good, but I don’t want major chain coffee.

Got rave reviews from my family at Christmas!
Hard to explain. I always add the same amount of sugar to my coffee but I can normally never tell there is sugar in it. This was different, I could taste the sugar on the first sip. Very odd for a dark roast. I guess I would describe this as one dimensional taste. Not much of a full body to it. Drinkable but not very enjoyable. Definitely had higher expectations.
wasn't super great. Liked the smell of. Felt like the taste was very strong, we felt that the caramel came through too much.
Wonderfully strong, bold coffee with minimal acidity. Starts with flavors of fermented malt and mellows to a caramel finish. Highly recommend!
Nice balance, great flavor
Baking spices, great with creamer
Not so great for drinking black - I found it a bit too dark and a bit blah.
Great! Can you send this one again? I messed up the grind and ended up making cold brew with it (which was great!). I’d like to give it a shot with our espresso machine and chemex
Loved this one!
I wasn’t too impressed with this one. It wasn’t a bad cup by any means, just not one I prefer. Can’t 100% explain what it was I didn’t like about it though. There was a certain bitterness in it that I didn’t care for. Was able to tame it a little by adjusting grind and brew settings.
Love Temple coffee, prefer there single origins, but still pretty solid.
Overall, a good coffee and latte.
One of my favorites so far!
Excellent taste! Will definitely consider ordering again. Had a little trouble getting the right extraction from it
Smooth and tasty. Prefer bolder
Loved the full bodied balance of this roast.
Lou said this one was bomb.com, we ordered a 2nd bag to verify in the office!
my coworkers loved it. very smooth and bold
This blend is great...tasty, rich and not acidic...more like this one would be great!
great with drip. very chocolaty
Very good flavor—no fru-fru added.
Meh. Tasted flat and was rather unexciting. Though, perhaps that was the intent.
A favorite., will request again.
Pretty good. Smooth. Not bitter
the baking spice gets me every morning
Smooth and rich
Smooth with a slight amaretto sent very easy to drin
too bitter for me. probably too dark
We have enjoyed this coffee a lot. We love the bold flavor and tasting notes.
