This is the Big Dipper Organic Blend brought to you by Wonderstate Coffee. Big Dipper is a big, full bodied cup with notes of chocolate fudge and baking spices, awesome on it's own or paired with a bit of milk.
Very good coffee, rich flavor but not overpowering. Barely acidic, which is my preference, just a good all around dark roast.
Kind of meh. I expected more out of this.
too light - standard
A bit too fruity for my taste. I prefer something even darker than this. This was my least favorite of those I've tried so far.
Not as robust as it smelled.
Very wonderful. Love the richness.
I liked the mouthfeel and the flavor, but I'd want the flavor to be a little bolder
Full bodied and flavorful, great taste. One of the best I’ve tried in awhile.
I loves this one for serving with dessert. The rich fudge notes were great, but a bit too heavy for my personal taste.
Very smooth combination of chocolate and light spice- I could drink this as a regular!
I liked this.
A little too fudge forward for me.
Dark and complex with chocolate and nut overtones
This coffee was awesome
Nice coffee without any bitterness. Full and pleasing, but not extraordinarily special
Very good! Rich flavor and not bitter.
The tase is good, I just enjoy a stronger coffee - dark rost
The description for this, Rich and Fudgy, is perfectly described. Once the coffee comes down to a drinkable temperature, the fudginess and richness really comes through. We really enjoyed this one. Great selection for what we like!
Very balanced and I like the hints of chocolate!
Just seems kind of bland with not much fragrance or taste. Probably like 2 1/2 stars.
Absolutely loved this one!! Any others like this that you could recommend would be great. I always have coffee with milk, so this was a winner
Ok didn’t really enjoy as much as others
I am not a fan of this coffee. It’s very sweet - to the point of making me feel a little nauseated. My husband describes it perfectly: the first few sips taste strongly of chocolate but then the flavor starts to drop off. It finishes weak, in other words. I enjoy a strong coffee and this is the exact opposite. My husband likes a bold, oily coffee but not as strong as what I like. This coffee was “sufficient” for him. Where I rate this coffee a 1 at best, he rates it at a specific 3.75.
Rich and flavorful!!
Pretty good. Smooth and balanced.
Rich flavor, not too acidic, really like it! Adding to this - I definitely full like it was full bodied, delivered good flavor every time, and would order again!
Like 3.75, didn't care for the after taste but otherwise a good well balanced well bodied brew!
Loved it! Only critique is that the fudge was a bit overpowering (a nice treat the first few cups, but I'll be looking for something different from my next batch).
Delicious! Rich and velvety.
This coffee was good but nothing outstanding. I didn't taste chocolate and fudge. It was just meh! Not bad, but not amazing.
I liked it. It could be a little stronger.
milder than expected
The perfect cup!
Pretty good. Daker and more bold.
Loved it...our favorite so far!
One of my favorites!
Dark and smooth
Nice flavor and good amount of caffeine. Would love to have this in a bolder darker roast.
This is the second blend from Wonderstate that we have absolutely loved! It’s got a great mouth feel, it’s sweet, and just delicious. We can’t wait to try more from them!
Really liked this one
The taste was not as rich as I was expecting. It was also leaning toward the acidic side of the palette which I am not the fan of.
I liked the other batch from the same roaster (Off Grid) much better than this one.
Great body and smooth with a hint of sweetness
For dark roast lovers
Absolutely gorgeous cup of coffee. It's the most flavourful dark roast I've tasted. It really does have notes of chocolate, it's almost as drinking dark—naturally bitter—chocolate. Be mindful, though, I was only able to get this great cup by experimenting. In the Hario V60, with a medium-fine grind, there were hints and nuances of that dark chocolate, but it was kind of bland. In the Chemex it's just not good. In the French press it lost a lot of flavor. Of course, come out the dark roast master and Latinx favorite: the moka pot. Traditionally, moka pot coffee is ground very fine, and I did that. It was tasty! However, it tasted a bit burnt and overextracted. I did it with a bit of coarser grind, maybe medium-fine used for the Hario, and voilá: perfection. There might still be other ways to make it, so I'll keep at it. But this is definitely one of my all-time favorites and I'll probably keep buying it.
Not my favorite. A little boring and really not enjoyable black. A splash of milk helps
Really excellent. Roast might be dialed in exactly to my preference.
we love this coffee. It is rich but not overpowering. Please keep this high on our list!
Nice unpolished coffee
Very good! Shared this coffee with my mom, and we both loved it. :)
Nice flavor good strength added to one of my favorites
