This is the Darkest Side Of the Moon brought to you by Passion House Coffee Roasters. This dark roast is a rocket ship that transports your tastebuds to a land of dark chocolate, roasted walnut, and toffee.
Not quite as good as their Night Moves, but still excellent.
This one was ok , it was not my favorite. The taste was not as strong as i would prefer , and it doesn't mix well with almond milk if that matters to you . I use a pour over brew, French press and re-useable kcup for reference. I will say it did blend well with oatmilk but it did not have the flavor to make me want to order it again . The packaging and the name are pretty cool though .
This is a very sour tasting and super light roast. Unless they screwed up and sent me the wrong coffee, this is NOT a dark roast. I usually drink some type of French Roast, so this coffee tasted flavorless, yet very sour. I made one pot, and will likely through the rest in the garbage--absolutely not good!
I definitely got some of the toffee flavors but more so on the nose than the taste.
Very nice medium-dark roast with a great flavor profile, I wish those notes were more prominent though
too strong of a dark taste
Liked in more than most dark roasts. Not overly bitter, subtle sweetness and super subtle acidity. This is about where I like my dark roasts to live.
LOVE! Great flavor, smell, full bodied, rich (and beans are dry). This one is fantastic!
Good flavor. More medium then dark. Nice roasted profile.
Awesome packaging! A nice chocolatey taste with a smoky finish. I like this blend because it’s very much like a smooth darker medium roast.
Like Soulmate a little better. Think Darkest side of the Moon was a bit stronger than I would typically enjoy.
I like this one. Played well with my favorite creamer and had a neutral aftertaste. Bold but not overpowering.
Very good. We liked it.
did not have the dark rich taste that I was expecting
Tiny bit sour, but a great name!
Great cup of coffee. Light cream and light Splenda.
I really dig this coffee but it benefits a lot from some dairy and a touch of sugar. On it’s own, I’d call it a medium / dark. There’s a lot of dry bean flavor, not unpleasant but it tastes very much like a bean. It’s right in the middle of dry vs oily. No string notes beyond being the most coffee coffee that I could detect. With some fat added it comes together into a nice, smooth, cohesive beverage.
I use this one for weekend coffee where I put stuff in it but it’s not my first pick for my black coffee on weekdays.
This is really good. I think I like this Passion House place. Love that this has a lot of flavor and a very smooth and rich finish with not a ton of acid. I started measuring with a scale instead of just the scoop, and now I bought a burr grinder, so hopefully it will keep getting better.
Was not really that dark.
I liked it, Karen did not so much
Exactly the kind of coffee I love. Full bodied and rich without any Smokey or bitter flavor.
Good notes, definite notes of chocolate and molasses. Good solid cup of coffee
Baking spices, chocolate
Strong and rich, with a nuanced undertone. Some of the best qualities in an espresso..
Very nice flavor and strength
This is also close to what we're looking for, but is a little too bitter for us. It would be better if it was a little smoother.
dark and sweet love it.
This is definitely a huge favorite. We felt we could taste so many layers of flavor. This was the perfect coffee.
