This coffee will be fresh roasted for you. We expect Equator Coffees & Teas will roast and ship this coffee in 1-2 business days depending on their roasting schedule.
This is the Decaf Equator Blend brought to you by Equator Coffees & Teas. This medium dark roasted decaf offering is perfect for enjoying any time of day. It has a great body and a silky mouthfeel with fruity and cedar notes, complimented by flavors of pepper and nutmeg.
Really enjoyed this! Good flavor for a decaf, and I actually think that the lack of oils lends it well to combinations with stronger flavor syrups, such as hazelnut. It was a little bitter/acidic for me personally, but otherwise made a lovely espresso.
Didn't have much flavor. Had a aftertaste kind of like artificial sweetener.
This blend was more medium roast than dark. The flavor lacked the robustness that I like. And, though I don't have the right coffee vocabulary to critique it, I would say that lightness of the roast allowed more of the bright elements to dominate the experience. I would prefer darker roasts in the future..
It was good. I liked the richness of it and the fruity notes. It was a good dark decaf for me.
Loved it. We have brewed with drip snd espresso machine. Both are delicious. Bold dark creamy toasty roasty
This one was acidic and fruity
This was not good for my palate. I do not like the fruity/acidity flavor/taste/smell. My preferences is dark roast that do not have this fruit/acidic taste.
How do I go about getting a replacement for this shipment?
Not a fan of this one. Very onenote.
Tasty! I usually lean a bit darker though. Thanks!
Not quite for me. It didn’t have quite enough low notes for me, if that makes sense. It’s clearly good at what it does, but it’s just not for me.
not enough taste. so smooth that it lacked depth of flavor.
Very smooth. Not too dark. Appropriate amount of oils with pour over method.
My husband and I really enjoyed the dark, comforting notes of this coffee. It is the perfect evening drink to round out a night.
I detected the fruity and baking spices notes as promised. But to me, it had the winy, green, sour of under-roasted coffee.
I'm more of a dark roast person (second crack or more) and prefer rich chocolate and nutty aromas as well as lower-acidity. Mistobox's "medium dark" is not dark enough. To each his own.
I recently got a Bialetti Moka pot and I have been making flat whites with it. This coffee is very smooth. I like this coffee a lot, but it's a bit too cedary.
Very good coffee! Nice and smooth. Enjoyed it very much. I don't think I have found another one that I have liked as much as this one. I dream of it.
A nice cup of decaf which are hard to find. Love this blend
Really nice! Great body, richness.
I like it, but it's not a 5. I use oat milk and honey in my coffee so maybe it conflicts with that a little bit?
Decent coffee but a little too earthy for my tastes.
One of the finest coffees i've ever had .Smooth, rich and full bodied.
This is my first coffee from the subscription and I've enjoyed the flavor profile slightly more than the decaf columbia one.
Smells heavenly when ground, but it brews up pretty mild. Would love a little richer flavor
They smell different from what I’m used to, but I’m really enjoying the beans! But, perhaps a different, more summery flavor profile next time?
Strong deep flavors - smooth mouthfeel. Nutty flavors. Took a few brews to get the grind right, a little coarser than my normal. But now it is wonderful.
This have wonderful flavor and a creaminess about it .
Very tasty. Nice aroma. Bold. Didn’t pick up the specified flavors on the package but was good nonetheless.
A little sour
It tastes too dark and acidic
Brewed a little weaker than other coffees we’ve been drinking. The aroma was amazing but didn’t quite follow through
I prefer a little deeper, stronger flavor that lingers on the palate.
awesome. loved the dark roast taste, and still had some flavor notes- not too dark as to only taste roasted flavor.
With a careful pour over I can get a pretty good cup. But it is easy to get some of those bitter/ashy flavors that come from a darker roast. And often I am missing the fruity flavors it is supposed to have. Overall, I think the quality is good though.
Dark but not one note.
Very good! Rich and full of flavor.
This coffee was good, but it isn't anything I would necessarily crave.
Rich taste! Would definitely order again. So good that my non-coffee-drinker wife asked for a cup.
Very good. A bit light for me.
I can taste pepper and prune.
I love it! Still experimenting a way to get a perfect brew on French Press.
Prefer something more chocolaty
Good coffee in terms of quality and roast, but I really didn't care for the flavor profile :(
I've liked some of the other equator coffees, but this one was harsh and metallic no matter which way i prepared it (espresso, french press, pour over).
YUM! Such a great decaf. Also, the bag is super cool...if you're asking.
Best tasting coffee you've sent yet! It just keeps getting better and better.
This is a good coffee but I am not partial to the peppery flavor.
My new favorite coffee! Strong and flavorful.
Thought the roast would be too dark, but it makes a great cup. The notes about the silky mouthfeel are right on.
This coffee is smooth and tastes good, but it has a subtle cherry flavor which I am not a big fan of in coffee. I liked the other Equator coffee -- the Mocha Java Blend was delicious, but this decaf one tastes just a little bit too cherry-flavored to me.
Update: this coffee has grown on me and I am enjoying it more now! It's very smooth.
This is slightly more roasted than I would have liked; but works really well with a cookie or after dinner (glad it is decaf). It definitely has good body and mouthfeel - so will get it again sometime but want to try other decaf options too.
we don't drink decaf!! Please don't send it again
My favorite since the Noble Decaf Ethiopia Sidama. Excellent.
