This coffee will be fresh roasted for you. We expect Mela Coffee Roasting Company will roast and ship this coffee in 1-2 business days depending on their roasting schedule.
This is the Decaf Honduras brought to you by Mela Coffee Roasting Company. This decaf coffee is from Honduras and is Organic, Fair Trade, and Rainforest Alliance certified. The coffee was fully washed before being decaffeinated using the patented Swiss Water decaffeination method. Mela developed this roast profile to bring out notes of smooth caramel, vanilla, and creamy body.
This coffee was ok. Not as dark as I prefer. Brewed by drip coffee maker.
I add it in with darker roasts to add some sweet body to it, but it’s not my thing on its own.
Really forgiving for espresso and hits the spot for that late afternoon/evening cup with dessert. I liked this one a lot as and it made a great affogato as well.
Not enough flavor or complexity
The aroma is amazing. Melitta and V60 are both pretty good; aeropress and french press not as good as they could be.
Good crema, all around smooth and pleasing. Makes a great americano.
Tasted a little bit burned
Tasted like burnt bodega coffee
wasn't crazy about the flavors in this one, i know I haven't commented much but I think we want to move toward a slightly more "roasted" flavoring (for example, my wife likes Summatra and French Roast from a regular coffee store), tho I know some afficianado's consider those "over roasted". so please keep sending us interesting new tasting experiences, but perhaps move all our choices just a notch more toward the more obviously roasted flavors? thanks!
Not a hint of the metallic taste that decaf usually has. Very pleasant afternoon coffee.
My all time favorite!!!
Please send more!!
My wife and I both tried this yesterday and we’re surprised how unimpressed we were. This seems to have the same notes as Day Tripper , but we could not taste this . Maybe a bad batch? I really was hoping to find a great tasting decaf , but not yet.:(
