Well balanced, mellow flavor. Overall, a very enjoyable coffee, simple and straightforward, not really complex.
Strange. I remember liking this roaster. This just wasn’t good. Over-roasted. I can get something similar from my local grocery store
Thick, heavy and burnt taste. Not pleasant at all.
Too dark. seemed over roasted.
Really good flavor
Too bitter :(
Great balance of roastiness and acidity. There's notes of molasses and wheat. The only drawback for me is that it ends up very savory.
This one I liked a lot.
Love the spice element.
Rich and flavorful
This was the first coffee we did not care for. It had a wood undertone. Please, no more coffee from this company.
Nice, mellow smooth notes. Would like more of a bold flavor.
Bland, a bit too bitter, and earthy but not in a good way. It's not terrible, but definitely underwhelming, even after trying to dial in the grind.
Definitely a strong smooth cup of coffee with no bitterness. This is our favorite coffee of all the ones we have received from Mistobox.
Good, not my favorite. A bit too mild with not much flavor
One of my favorites. Great variety of flavor, and smooth.
Nice brew to begin the day with. Nice aroma, rich flavor. One of my favorites at this point.
The backend had a little something that I didn't quite enjoy.
Fell flat in a French Press.
Too dark of a roast. Tastes cheap.
This was very tasty!
70g of beans with 1 liter of water, brewed in a Chemex
Nice full flavor without bitterness. Nothing super fancy or complex - just a good, solid coffee.
Very Good Coffee....
In my opinion, this coffee had kind of a bland taste. I couldn’t really pick up any notes of anything. At times it felt like it was possibly over roasted due to a slightly burned aftertaste. So, for pour over black coffee, not that great. For espresso drinks, on the other hand, it was ok, but I don’t normally drink my coffee this way.
Was very weak
it leaves a funny after taste in your mouth. a little bitter for my taste.
Equator is always good. This one had a nice chocolaty nose with a mellow taste.
I got a new expresso maker the Breville nice one. and combined with this coffee is amazing! Although I cannot imagine how great the whole bean (fresh ground) will taste
This is a good general coffee and I like these from time to time. Though mostly I use mistobox to find different coffees, it is nice to have a great balance.
I wasn’t a fan. A bit bitter. Not very flavorful.
I think I had this blend very early on, and I like it! Balanced, notes of chocolate and baking spices.
I was not a fan of this one. Seemed like no matter how I brewed it, I had a very bitter coffee. I like the chocolatey, rich, earthy blends, but this wasn’t very good to me.
Oily dark roast. Taste is ok.
Enjoyed the blend. Was a little darker than I like but overall a good coffee.
This coffee was strongly acidic and left a sour taste in my mouth for hours after brewing. Changing my grind settings helped remove the sourness but I was left with a bland, boring cup.
not for me
Not great for espresso. May be good for pour over.
This coffee definitely had a dark/burnt flavor to it - the description on the bag said cedar, apricot, and nutmeg, which differed from the description on your site. I have gotten this coffee before and enjoyed it (based on scrolling down and seeing that I had previously given it 4 stars), but this time it was definitely far less enjoyable.
The tasting notes online aren't right for this coffee. If you zoom in on the package it says notes of apricot and cedar, not chocolate. I found the cedar to be very present and didn't enjoy those at all.
Oily and over roasted. Might as well be called Starbucks.
