This coffee will be fresh roasted for you. We expect Parisi Artisan Coffee will roast and ship this coffee in 1-2 business days depending on their roasting schedule.
This is the Parisi Italian Blend brought to you by Parisi Artisan Coffee. A full-bodied Latin American blend with a rich, but sweet flavor. Roasted deeply to a medium-dark, but not so dark as to disguise the natural beauty of the beans. This cup is big and bold with smoky and caramelized notes.
I'd like it to be a darker roast. Not a fan of the sweet after taste, but had a good feel on my tongue.
Good balance between the bitter, darker notes and mild acidity.
This tasted like a Starbucks dark roast. Too dark, despite its description. Tasted like every other roast that has no confidence in the beans.
Nothing special. A little bitter.
We liked this one was flavorful and was roasted perefectly
This was fantastic. We LOVED it.
love the test
I was hoping for more from the description.
Smell is not quite as strong as my previous coffee. The smell is one of my favorite things to do with coffee. I taste a nutty, burnt flavor which is nice but not my favorite. Caramel flavor is non existent for me.
Too much chocolate, roasted notes
I did not enjoy this coffee. Tasted like store bought Folgers. Very weak, lacked flavor and didn’t like the grounds.
Loved the smell of this one but it was a little weak for my taste. Apparently I want my coffee to punch me in the face, and this one was more of a hug type.
It's lighter than I expected and I did not get any smokiness at all. Overall it's okay but not great.
By far the best coffee i have had! I’m almost out and need to order more!
Very bold, rich. Loved the smoky undertones.
I ended up really liking this coffee! I didn’t get much of the caramel flavor out of this, but it’s a rich, smoky, dark that’s a perfect morning wake me up. I did miss the sweetness a bit, yet that didn’t stop me from craving it most days. Wouldn’t mind keeping some in my pantry when I just want a stiff cup on a cold day.
Tastes burnt. No depth or complexity.
I like the rich flavor! It doesn't taste watered down. Definitely can taste the smokey/sweet notes
This was a traditional coffee with a bit of sweetness. I enjoyed it.
This has some off-flavors & excess bitterness that isn't very balanced for me.
Nice chocolate flavor, very smooth. A little lighter than I normally like, but enjoyable.
(12:1) Aero ratio
I liked the balance of the coffee but it was not strong enough for me. I like a little more dark and bitter. Maybe it was too balanced I like a little more bite.
I dont have my notes handy but remember not being in love with this coffee
This is hands down my favorite. Its roasty flavor is without bitterness. Very rich. A solid dark roast.
Not as bold, less chocolaty than the Organic Peru
Full bodied, a tad more acidic than Vermont. No fruity flavors, very tasty. Worth a repeat
I can definitely taste the caramelized flavor notes to this but with my palate used to DCR that came prior, its a definitely a different flavor profile. It's good but once I get used to it, I can see it become a 5 star.
was good, would definitely buy again (but think i prefer the Centri West Coast)
Smells great, but tastes kind of like watered down coffee
Dark and tasty, with a wonderful smell to it, but a bit oily when brewed.
I really enjoyed the Smokey notes in this coffee.
Strong, bold flavor. It's a bit oily, which is really my own complaint.
Overall Ok blend for my personal tastes. I think the smoky flavor in the blend hit the palate too much and not so much ruined the blend, just didn't sit well with me. I'd be interested in other coffees from the roaster though.
Has a slight burnt/bitter taste (probably the smoky) that I wasn't huge on.
Nice flavor. Wish it was a bit bolder.
We loved this coffee! Dark enough for us, nice blend.
Lovely...the best one yet. wonderfully flavorful yet no bitterness.
Really liked this one! It was the perfect level of darkness.
Currently my front runner for the the 3 coffees I have tried. Loved the boldness of the overall flavor. The notes of smoke and caramel complimented everything perfectly.
There’s a little bit of a bitter aftertaste. Could be the molasses I don’t like
I just didn't love this coffee. I think I wanted something smoother.
Good, not great. I can't really put my finger on what made it just good. It didn't seem a step beyond what we normally get from Costco...so just didn't stand out for me.
Bold without being bitter
would definitely drink again
Didn’t love it at first but it grew on me. Somewhat smoky, but well balanced.
VERY bold. Not my first choice for hot or black coffee. Works great cold with some sweetener/flavor. Highly recommend drinking plain black for someone who believes coffee should “put hair on your chest.”
Dark and delicious
Mistobox selected this for me without my knowing it. It's mild, virtually tasteless and bland. Not recommended for drip. (I don't have an espresso machine, and I suspect this grind is intended for that.)
Favorite so far! Very robust just the way I like it.
Loved this one
John & Michelle
Excellent, balanced and deep.
Great! I loved the roast. This is exactly how I like my coffee. The smoky flavor made the brew very smooth. It wasn’t too acidic either. Perfect in the aeropress, I’ll have to try it with another method.
Fantastic. Made rich flavorful coffee.
Too plummy for my taste
Smooth and bold. Not bitter at all, but still dark carmel-y. Very good. My favorite by far. Every time I drank this It was rich and smooth
Thai coffee is brewed three blocks from my house. It's not that it is bad coffee, but I would think that a coffee service would know not to send a hyper-local coffee to me. Parisi is at every grocery store in my area.
Verty good, bold smoky
Awesome! Balanced, bold, dark. Exactly how I like my coffee.
Good solid taste
Did not like it at all. Not bold, not strong. Hated it.
Sweet, caramel notes, a slightly lighter cup than other dark roasts
Excellent cup of espresso! Love the notes of chocolate and caramel.
Pretty good, easy drinking but could use a bit more flavor.
Nice flavor and very drinkable. A smooth cup of coffee. Not as bold and flavorful as some other darker roasts provide
It's very good.
Great taste but mild for a dark roast.
I loved this again, keep them coming.
It has a nice flavor but the coffee was weak when using the measuring instructions.
So delicious! I love the medium-dark roast.
A touch too much on the sweet side.
Not my favorite, tasted a little stale or burned?
The coffee smells amazing! The roast was a bit too smoky and acidic for my taste. I used te beans mostly for espresso. The boldness of the coffee is great for espresso, but the acidic bite was too much for my liking.
Ashlynn Rickord and
Had a lot of flavor, a great aroma, and was just enough richness.
Too bold for my current tastes. In the past i was into finding some espresso-type roasts, but now i want some light roasts with more nuanced profiles for my pour over
Overall, a good coffee. Though I found the previous coffee we received to be more flavorful.
Rose Marie & Mike
Pleasant but a little to light for me, like a bolder stronger flavor
Very good flavor and smooth to drink.
I like the smokiness, but this blend is too dark for me. I can still use it for espresso, but for a daily french press it isn't really my style. I think I am starting to lean more toward medium roasts.
Nicely balanced dark roast. I like that I can taste hints of the full range of flavor, and dark roast notes win out. A very well balanced cup.
I did not care for this coffee at all!! It was so bad and weak that I could not even drink it. Very disappointed!!
Love it. End of story. Dark, rich, strong, with great taste and a solid after taste. Nothing to dislike!
We felt neutral about this one
A little too dark for my taste.
This one was alright, while it was bold it just didn't seem to really stand out. Maybe I wasn't using enough beans? Regardless it was good but not great. Like it was a medium coffee that had bold flavors...not sure if that makes sense but that's the best way I can describe it.
To bold liked the first one the best so far
This was very good tasting
Paula and Jeremy
I really like this Parisi Italian Blend. Thank you.
the best yet.
Tasted way to strong
2nd best of those sent
Smooth with a small bit of bite. Very easy to drink black, which is good.
Too bold for my taste. Not an all day drinkable brew
This coffee was terrible. It is also a DARK roast, which I have in my profile NOT to send. We like Medium roast. Please send a new one that matches our profile.
A little too bitter
Was too dark. Looking for lighter blends. Couldnt taste the flavors, just strong. Want something with more flavorful.
Good flavor, rich but not too harsh.
Again, real oily and tough on the grinder.
Great flavor. Bold but smooth.
The Amazing All-Caffeinated Alison
Good coffee, lighter than I like - I go for darker roasts.
This coffee was from what tastes somewhat weak
A little too dark, but good overall flavor
Pleasant and smooth, subtle smoky undernotes.
Not my favorite. Not as dark as I would like.
Oily beans are awesome!
Smooth with bold notes. Enjoyed
We love it, nice job!!!
Slightly more acidic and bitter than others. Prefer the darker roast.
Theresa and Donald
Not bad, was not as strong as we like. Could taste flavors of chocolate . It was drinkable. Hopefully our next coffee will be stronger.
Not my favorite. Kind of boring
This one was good but not my favorite :)
Rich and bold but not acidic.
Really enjoyed the coffee!
Loved this coffee. Smooth and full of rich caramel flavor
Chocolate-y but lacks depth
Pop & Laurel
not an especially rich flavor
Smells amazing, very good but not quite as dark as I expected
Loved this coffee
Nice sweetness...just needs to be a bit stronger
Liked the roast level. Smooth and balanced. Didn’t like it quite as much as the first coffee, but I could see this becoming a go-to standard because it seems like it has the broadest appeal.
This was better then the first blend. It smelt excellent; however, it may have been the caramelized notes we didn't care for as much.
This was the best one that MistoBox has picked up for me. I like the caramel notes and fairly smooth finish. All of the coffees I have tried has been extremely fresh, which is definitely a good thing. It has been a fun experiment, but I think I can find better coffee myself.
Did not like this one nearly so much as the Double Dark. Using same grind and coffee-water ratio, this one came out weak and with an annoying grassy-herbal character. With experimentation (finer grind and stronger ratio) I was able to make it drinkable, but the finer grind and extra quantity needed makes my one-cup dripper kinda messy.
Not bad, but too dark both in taste and oiliness
I enjoyed this coffee. Thought it had a good, smooth flavor!
An excellent cup of coffee, made as pour over. As the description says it is a perfect medium-dark roast that keeps the flavors true. It is not over-roasted.
Very yummy, what we would call a great sipping coffee
It was OK. Not as tasty as the previous coffee.
Good, but the flavor is not the bold, complex, and robust flavor with depth that I look for in a dark roast.
We are enjoying this coffee very much. It has full bodied flavor but is not overwhelming. Not too smokey, yet it “provides a point” to waking up in the morning! That’s a compliment!!
Good choice for us.
Very enjoyable. Less bitter than first
Not our favorite, a little to much of an aftertaste
I am learning I am not much of an Italian Blend kind of guy, But this one was pretty good.
Very nice cup of joe. Dark but not burnt.
This coffee was excellent! Fresh oily beans that produced a superior rich, satisfying cup of joe! I would definitely order this one again in the future. It was just about perfection.
zero complaints; good daily cup
smoky but not too burnt
burnt/dark smell but not overbearing
def chocolatey if you slurp
I really loved this coffee, one of my favorite coffees I've ever had.
not my favorite. not chocolate-y enough
Full bodied. Very nice.
Good but not knock-my-socks-off. It's a tasty brew, but maybe not distinctive enough in flavor.
Much preferred Dillanos Double Dark Blend for its dark profile.
Chocolate tones and rich dark flavor! It is the best Italian blend coffee I've ever had! I didn't enjoy this coffee as much as the Dillianos. The flavor was less complex and more burnt tasting. Thanks for your selections and your help in getting me the best coffee!!
This one was my favorite.
This blend wasn't as bold as I thought it would be. It's a good roast for an every day cup of coffee, but didn't have that stand-out bold and unique flavor. We did enjoy the slight sweetness of it, though.
Flavors were too subtle, not bold enough.
Excellent! Really liked this one. Thanks!
Pretty similar experience to the previous coffee. I do enjoy it, but there isn't anything spectacular about it. With the first two coffees I had, there was something distinct about it where I actually said "Wow" when I would drink it. With this one, it's not too different from my tried and true Starbucks Dark Italian Roast
Not dark enough
Really enjoyed this one. Good balance
Nice and bold, great aroma.
For my 3rd shipment Please look for dark roast coffee that is Fair Trade certified by Fair Trade USA
The bold, smoky, caramel blend is very smooth.
Really enjoyed it!
Not a huge fan.
Very smooth and delish
Much, much better than the first one I received.
I was worried this wouldn’t be bold enough based on some of the comments. But I really liked it. Nice and balanced but still has a great dark roast flavor.
Taste is a bit stale
This was good but I did not find it 'bold' or 'smokey'. Just a good Italian medium dark cup.
Smelt stale and too melow
This blend was perfect!
Like the dark roast
I didn’t dislike it, but there wasn’t much to it to like. I like led my first bag you sent way better. This one was lacking in distinction and depth. It just was plain and didn’t taste like anything special from a grocery bought coffee.
I did not like this coffee at all. I wrote Samantha an email two days ago and have not heard back. I am beginning to be very disappointed in this MistoBox thing. Beans were dry, not freshly roasted. I want someone to contact me.
Enjoyed this coffee. Very Smooth. It wasn't bitter or acidic. It didn't leave an aftertaste in your mouth. I thought it had average flavor. Overall I thought it was good and would drink again.
Not my favorite. Slightly too bitter with not enough flavor.
Too dark, beans a bit too oily, but good crema, VERY good for milk-based drinks but too smoky for espresso-only drinking.
Not loving this as much as others. It doesn't have the bold flavor I was expecting.
The coffee is a little light on taste and caffeine for me.
Love this bold and rich coffee, smell and taste great! It's a nice way to start a day with a nice cup of coffee like this.
More robust than last coffee. I like this more. It is not as full bodied as I prefer, but I like it. It is better than expected and is a good choice. The beans are less oily, more dry compared to last coffee.
Another excellent brew that I've really been enjoying in pour over or aero press.
Better than the first one.
Like the lighter, dark roast and floral notes.
Justin & Joe
We've loved the other selections, but this one was quite weak. The flavor was lacking and seemed watery. Unfortunately, we won't be able to finish the rest of this selection.
It’s not as bold as I would love me like. It almost taste like it’s missing something or is slightly watered down. I made it a little stronger but still was lacking flavor.
Nice and rich
I'm not too crazy about this one. It tastes weak to me.
