The West Coast Roast was blended and roasted for you by Centri Coffee. This is a blend of seasonal coffees from South America that rotate throughout the year. West Coast is a rich and hearty blend with a full body and roasty notes of dark chocolate.
I loved how this one was a dark roast but still tasted really rich.
I liked it. It’s very bold
Loved this one. Please send again.
Excellent blend by this roaster. I even touted the roaster to my co-workers to get them to start using the service. Looked forward to this in my cup every morning I had it.
too much bitterness for me
Nice full body, without being too bitter. Chocolaty notes balance out roastiness.
A very enjoyable coffee for me, nothing wrong with it.
Love this blend! Smooth bold flavor.
Really good. Chocolate. Flavor stayed great through a cold brew batch
This coffee was one of my favorites so far. I really liked the flavor, and it wasn’t as bitter as the last one and not as acidic as the very first coffee. Also, they sent me a sticker with my coffee, which was an excellent addition to the already great coffee.
This is my favorite coffee so far. A perfectly balanced richness. Love the roasty flavor.
It is my ideal everyday coffee. Would definitely get again!
Seemed relatively lightly roasted, and had a bit of an off-taste. A bit acidic for my liking. Worked much better (and was actually pretty good) as a cold brew.
Maybe not as balanced, but definitely not bad. Tasty.
good flavor, berry notes
A little bitter and not bold enough for me.
I loved this coffee. I drink as Black or make cappuccino. Both tastes great.
Very good! I liked the Earthy and chocolate elements
Wasn't very smooth - it was "bitey".
Dark, rich, low acidity
Too dark and smoky.
Good balance between sweet and roasty
Taste was average and didn't have a lot of flavor.
Definitely one of our top favorites. Felt super smooth and delicious each cup!
A milder chocolate smell & taste
It was okay
I have only used this blend in my espresso machine. The roast is a bit more acidic than I had expected. It may be the "roasty" notes that appear acidic. The taste is definitely full bodied. The blend may be better used in a french press or a cold brew concentrate.
Too strong for my taste
This is exactly what I want coffee to taste like. Dark without tasting like dirt. Definite chocolate notes.
Rich full bodied
I could not stand this coffee. I considered composting the beans unused beans after the first pot. I did not and gave it a second chance. Still do not like it. Just bad, bad. Anyway I can return it?
Kind of a flat flavor. Not quite rich enough.
It was ok. Not great.
Very good! Dark, smooth and not oily. Excellent!
Enjoyed the beans very much
Yum. Not bitter, smooth and I really taste chocolate.
We really liked this coffee! Thanks for this choice. Anything else like this would be appreciated!
smooth and full-bodied with nice roasted flavor.
Tried my first cup. Loved it.
Real good. Less oil and tastes more like coffee and not fruits and nuts
The chocolate is very noticeable both in the ground beans and the coffee made from the beans. What seemed to be missing was a smooth finish. Not a bad coffee by any measure but not memorable or desirable either.
Very good darker flavors with the light sweetness of chocolate. Very enjoyable.
I'm not usually a fan of dark roast but this is very smooth and works great as an iced coffee
Too bitter. We don't like dark roasts, but keep getting them.
This coffee is very good but extremely finicky. I was a huge fan of the roasty flavor, elegent touh of chocolate (not at all overpowering) and the full bodieness of it for sure. WIth that said, it is VERY finicky. If you go to hot or cold, it would tast eway off. If you use an aero press, as I do, and so much as TOUCH the grinds when compressing, oh no.. you've gone too far! Taste Ruined! But if you do it right, it is consistantly amazing. I take one star awya for just being high maintenance :p
I liked this one. Was strong and smooth.
Of the three coffees I've received so far, this one was my least favorite but perhaps that's because of the time of year – I think this would be a better cup for fall/winter! A little too mellow and 'roasty' for my summer coffee tastes.
Best so far
Flavorful and bold. Bitter notes of dark chocolate. Enjoyed this roast, but maybe was a little too bold for us
This coffee is great! It is a nice dark roast without the harsh bitterness of other dark roasts I have had. I love it!
Meh. Too dark and a little one dimensional
Ludmila & Alex
I am not a fan of dark roast coffee. I would appreciate if next time you could send me medium or light roast according to my preferences.
guys, the only guidance i gave you was no dark coffee... and then you send me THREE shipments of dark coffee. plz, NO MORE DARK ROAST!
Meh, didn't blend well with cream. Had too much of a burnt taste
Loved it this was so smooth and yummy thank you
Nice full body flavor. Not bitter
I enjoyed this coffee very much. It was smooth and flavorful. Nice aroma. Even my husband, a non coffe drinker, mentioned how great the aroma was when fresh brewed-something he does not usually notice.
Too dark from kmm
Ok - but my least favorite so far!
A little too chocolatey sweet
Seemed to taste better when brewed in french press than chemex, but still a bit too smoky tasting for our taste. A little more bitter than we prefer as well.
Smooth with just the right amount of bitterness, a touch of bitter. Delicious.
This was a bit too oily for my liking. I'm still new, and not sure what it is, but the oil level definitely affects my level of enjoyment.
This was possibly my favorite coffee so far. This was a fantastic selection. We loved it.
Liked the chocolate notes and full bodied flavor of this. I'm not the biggest fan of dark roasts, I prefer medium roasts.
Bit too acidic for our taste.
It's not a bad coffee, but our taste is evolving and it was just too dark/roasty for us. We are gravitating toward medium roasts with a less roasted taste.
