The Belen Gualcho was carefully roasted for you by Alma Coffee. Belen Gualcho is a small village located in the Ocotepeque department of Honduras. Jesus Mata, a coffee farmer from the area, heard about Alma's family farm, Finca Terrerito and how they treated farmers fairly and focused on helping the community. This lot is from a group of 7 farmers (including Jesus) that have on average 1 to 2 acres each.
Smooth coffee but very few flavors stand out. Brewed in a Moccamaster auto drip and as a pour over. Not very rich, or flavorful. Tastes almost bland or watery.
I've brewed this in a drip coffee maker and a percolator. Both produced good tasting coffee. However, neither produced a cup that brought forward any of the chocolate, graham cracker or green grape. It's not bad coffee at all, but I'm not sure the beans produce the advertised flavors.
Smooth and easy to drink! I prefer something a little more bold, but this is still great!
This one was really fun and had flavors that were subtle but really stuck with me after each cup.
Loved this bag! Made 1-2 cups at a time in the french press and really, really liked it.
I didn't care for this one. Very acidic upfront which ruined the rest of the coffee for me.
Surprisingly delicious cup after cup
Interesting. Not my favorite but good!
Good but not as good as the last one. Solid coffee though.
