The Ethiopia Gedeb was carefully roasted for you by Case Coffee Roasters. This fully washed coffee was grown by small holder producers in the Gedeb region of Ethiopia between 1,900 meters above sea level. The Ethiopia Gedeb is a perfect example of why we love Ethiopian coffees as it's sweet, fruit-forward and nuanced cup with notes of ripe peaches, apricots, milk chocolate, and black tea.
A nice fruit forward and sweet cup. Not as aromatic as i hoped, but nothing wrong with it. Stone fruit and pastry are the primary notes.
I struggled with this one. Course grind yielded bland a butter cups. No sweetness. Finer grind yielded fruit and acidity, but still unpleasant bitterness and next to no sweetness. It worked somewhat better in my Chemex than in my Kalita wave. I really don’t get it.
