The Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Misty Valley was carefully roasted for you by Dawson Taylor Coffee Roasters. This coffee comes from the Aricha station, formerly known as the highly coveted Misty Valley station and sometimes called Idido. The station is located at around 1,925 meters above sea level in the Yirgacheffe highlands of southern Ethiopia and brings in coffee from approximately 700 small holder farmers in the area. This coffee tastes delicious brewed hot or cold; try it iced and you might be surprised!
This coffee smells AMAZING but when brewed, the flavor profile is muted, but tastes best in the Moka pot
Sadly, this is not the coffee I received. That said, the one I did receive was an Ethiopian and was nice. I was looking forward to trying a cold brew but the one I received did not include that as a good option so I did not.
I usually like Yirgacheffe's more than I liked this particular batch.
I love the berry notes in this!
Easy to drink, smooth, fruity.
I like that this wasn't overpowering. Subtle enough yet complex. I like the sweetness.
Delicious, punchy flavor.
Very bright and complex flavor.
My first Yirgacheffe. The fruit notes were nice not overpower erring more on the subtle side. Well balanced, juicy, fairly bright espresso. Sylvia/270 with 10 second preinfusion at 3 bar, followed by 25 second extraction at 9 bar; 18/36g.
This coffee is very refreshing. I think it might be a little too light for me, but it is different than my usual coffee and I like that!
Could drink this everyday
Have had much more impressive Yirgacheffe's
Well balanced and bright! Loved the acidity. Enjoyed this one.
Very nice, delicate flavor. Not too lightly roasted like many yirgacheffe's, but kept the acidity and floral and fruit flavors.
One of my new favorite roasters!
This is my fav coffee i've made at home in a long long time
Easily one of the best cups I've ever had at home. I loved the distinct fruity/natural brightness in the aroma and that it was distinctly a Natural Ethiopian without being punched in the mouth (and nose) by a blueberry. The tasting notes were on point, which is something I've rarely uttered. Can't get enough of the sweet/sour stone fruit/berry interplay and love the "sparkling" light, silky mouthfeel. Chocolate on the long finish is subtle, but appreciated. Incredible sweetness whilst not overpowering. Chemex; 38/600g; 5 min; 202F
Bit too dark, fruity but quite a strong taste
Nothing surprising since I've had better Yirgs. A subtle fruit with chocolate. Well balanced. Great everyday coffee.
What I could taste of the flavor profile was great, however, now matter how many times I changed up my grind settings, I just couldn't get it right. Either it would turn up bitter if I tried a fine grind, or there would be barely any flavor but not bitter.
This was using a V60 with a paper filter.
The reviews were right. This was a delicious, consistent, balanced, and subtle naturally processed coffee. It expanded my mind on what a natural could offer.
Light, soft fruit notes, really clean cup. Very enjoyable.

Used this for espresso and it tasted like blueberries.
Beautiful mild flavor
I want to get this coffee again
I taste apricot and chocolate notes. Enjoyable. Settings: V60;15:1;202-203F.
Too light of a roast.
Blueberries and hint of smoke at first, cools off to more of a peach flavor. Very creamy. 200F for 2:30 aeropress
After three weeks, only chocolate flavor remains - went stale a little fast.
Tastes more like a coffee from Kenya than an Ethiopia natural. It’s good but not the profile I was expecting.
I thought this coffee was really good. Lots of fruit flavor and apricot, very clean tasting notes.
8 clicks on porlex run thru chemex natural squares and sipped next to an open Texas window. in the words of Dale Cooper; "a damn fine cup of coffee". the sweet fruity notes are there without being obnoxious, nice clean roasty chocolatey finish.
A quality coffee with subtle notes of apricot, or similar stone fruit. Subtle chocolate flavors without any prominent fruity or chocolaty notes. All-in-all, a quality albeit subdued coffee that did take a few days from opening to reach its full flavor potential.
Light and bright with scent/taste of green tea.
Loved this coffee. Lots of fruit flavors, nicely balanced. Liked it best in Chemex w/ 1:17 ratio.

This is the best coffee I have had in a long time. Please send more like this!
One of the most interesting and tasty coffees I've ever tried. The stone fruit tasting note is accurate, specifically more apricot-y notes. Brewing in both french press and metal filter pourover gave good results. Had no issue with sourness, but occasionally ended up with a bitter brew once or twice. Would definitely recommend trying!
This was decent coffee, needed a few days to open up and you were able to really get the chocolate and the berries coming through with some nice baking spice on the other end.
very fresh and well-balanced. Fruity and a delicious acid taste.
Excellent coffee. This is what I am searching for in Ethiopian coffees: full fruity flavor. Very happy drinking.
Delicious! Subtle up front and finishes extremely smooth. Recommended.
More like this please.
Excellent cup in both pour over and even in drip brewer. Berries and stone fruit flavors abound.
My wife and I loved this Ethiopia coffee for how well rounded it was. We brewed it as a Chemex and enjoyed the bright fruity flavors in every cup it produced. It didn’t have quite as much body as I prefer but that’s to be expected with a light roast. It was still a fantastic coffee.
Made some really good espresso. Berry notes were definitely present without being too acidic. Solid coffee.
Probably the best bag I've gotten from mistobox so far
Very clean bright flavor profile.
This might have been the best coffee I've ever had.
amazing! I love the subtle fruit, can't stop drinking.
Great bag of coffee!
Just excellently smooth and full of berry and it does really have a sparkle to the taste.
Probably the best bag I have ever had.
This is a great coffee. 1:16 ratio with 200 degree water Chemex. Let this cool down a bit and that combination of stone fruit and slight berry with a twinge of earth (which reminded me a little of Summatra) . I'd get this again for sure!
Love this coffee! Very smooth with great notes. Not overpowering at all. Light notes but delicious.
This is an incredible coffee - probably one of the best I've had in recent memory. The front flavors really come through but the acidity isn't overwhelming. More like this please!
A great coffee. Light roast, great fruit aftertaste. One of your best offering.
Easily one of my favorites! More like this one, please :)
